I haven't played many CW's since the patch release. I used to be a Goblin specialist in patch 1.04, and since the release of the patch, I have been wanting to get back to that point. I have heard that the Goblins are the hardest faction to learn to play with effectively now and I now see why. Please help me out with some BO. This game is against Elder|Apoc and he is Isengard and I am the Goblins. Thanks for you help,
Nope, we are still there. My mate ([DA]Snape and I just wanted to have a make shift clan to work on for a bit, DA will return forsure though. Thanks for the bump by the way!
Game summary: A rather one sided game featuring goblins vs isengard. After a failed cave troll rush, the goblin player took map control and harrassed well with a 3 cave goblin spam. The isengard player just couldnt repel endless waves of warriors even with the help of lurtz and upgrades. After some decent base defence |elder|Ap0C finally gave in after some nice upgraded goblin use along with giants drogoth and wildmen.
+ utallised goblins strengths by attacking with large groups of them. + clumping. + kept opponent under pressure. + great expansion. + good use of wildmen to harrass. + great harrasment all game, you kept him boxed in his base. - you took alot of time building your first fissure, also try building these close to your fort for protection - didnt always use stances correctly - he way you lost drogoth was insanely stupid - you attacked the uruk pit with goblins warriors, there is no need for this it is just suicide.use goblins to destroy his economy and cavalry for production buildings. - units idle for too long, try and keep them moving at all times. - cashfloating.
player summary: You played quite well all game, keeping a lot of pressure on your opponent which kept him locked in his abse all game. You used goblin warriors to great effect by keeping them in large groups, remember that in future goblins are better against resource buildings than production buildings which are countered by cavalry. As the game went on you expanded well and kept map control quite easily. As drogoth and upgrades came into play, you had the game won. Another thing you could improve on is your stance usage, which was okay through the game, but keep in mind goblins are used as meat shields and should be put in defence stance when facing uruks and crossbows. again a good game from you well done

BO: Furn>pit>furn Strat: xbows>pikes>lurtz>upgrades PP: bats>warcry>industry>watcher + mixed army of uruks + creeping + good usage of lurtz + early upgrades - only used attack stance - no harrasment all game - no clumping - you needer wargs mid game for harrasment - no wargs
player summary: Well what can i say here.. you started off well by reppelling a cave troll rush easily but then lost your way in the game. You gave the opposition map control because you didnt harrass at all. Instead of going for upgrades maybe wargs would of been a better choice to give you a better foothold in the game. To be honest you really need to improve your clumping and stances, these give you a good advantage if you can master them. As the game went on you defended your base well, but could do nothing against the endless waves of goblin warriors.
