I might be way out of my "league" here, but i don't think it's wise to say ST was a bad choice when two players from the (by far) best clan say it's all good.
Believe me, Pilbots, Integral, or who ever you would ever imagine to bring up wouldn't pass FisherKing in knowledge of the Elves. Most of those "ohh 1337 pro clan"-players play random too often to actually know as much as a speccer would.

Knowledge of the elves maybe. Actually playing them, I would not say he's really any better. Not necessarily saying he's worse, I'm guessing in a mirror host would win NP. The fact that I've just played more games than Fischer (as random, but out of those games I'll end up getting elves) means I know them quite a bit. I'm not arguing that I'm better either...
Oh and btw. First win vs you (Strategy) today! Hehe I'm getting better, even if I was playing you at 1 AM your time

I think this game was ok, but i don't think it would be worth gold. Call me a rookie but for instance the elves didn't rebuild their farms fast enough. i think juanring wasted his wildmen summon when he just got his dragonstrike, these wildmen could have finished the job when the cavalry failed to do so. I think the micro usage was definatly good, but it could have been better. Overal i would say that this game deserves a 7 and not more...
(Don't think that i'm so negative, but i think both players can do better)
