In my opinion the best defense is a good offense... one of the reasons i make so much progress in the elf vs gobs or elf vs mordor matchup. Keeping a nice aggression causes the spam factions to some degree of recession needing to devote units to protection. Also small elvn groups >>>> large gob group if worked properly. But on the attacking portion. The key to beating any spam faction is to keep the farms down. Most people make the mistake of killing production buildings early on, which make it harder because they will easily get them back up, but will make hero in the mean time.. Less farms = less units, and soon most of the units he has will be devoted to defense
gg..but tbh the PoH player was really wrong to not mix his army with pikes just in case cuz the spiderriders will take down the archers and swordmen easily . but y is inn units lame !?!?......imo is Not!!
