This team strategy guide was done by Zayron and demonstrates how to play as usa/china in 2v2 games, its is very detailed and comes with some very helpful replays.
Tactic #1:
China's Build OrderAfter your power, take safe supply and main supply, building two War Factories, one on each side. Then you have to adapt at the game. Keep spamming Gattlings from USA's side and Gattlings Battle Masters on your main side. If you get enough money, make a Propaganda Center. Lotus will help the team very much, by scouting and taking off important structures like Command Centers, Propaganda Centers, and War Factories. Remember that if USA is facing a hard Gattling plus Tank Hunter rush, upgrade your Gattlings! This is very important. Keep spamming Gattlings from USA's side War Factory and upgrade from your main War Factory. Overlords are devastating if mixed up with Gattlings and Paladins. If playing versus China/Gla, then make Migs instead of Propaganda. Furthermore, make Mines to your buildings and try to place them at the entrances of the bases; a Barracks would help too.
USA's Build OrderTake unsafe supply by placing your supply here. Make a War Factory at your main supply and spam as many Paladins as you can. With your second Dozer, go past the safe supply and make a Barracks on China's side. You will need a lot of micro by laser locking enemies' troops leading to your ally's base. Always pay attention to your Nooks. Try not to let any Gattlings come in your base, it would damage your economy very hard. If a Gattling is running through your base, put a beacon. Your ally's Gattlings are faster than your Paladins. A Strategic Center helps very much. Burton killing their safe supply will slow their economy; beware for Migs, kill them as fast as you can. Tomahawks are very effective too. Against China/Gla, instead of a Strategic Center you could also make Helicopters, but be careful for China's Gattlings. I recommend going on Raptors, they are very helpful if the China opponent is going on Overlord.
TipsNever stop attacking! Don't waste units waiting enemy attacks. Start cleaning up the middle, this will make your unsafe supply protected by enemy's sneaky Gattlings. Both players have to try to sneak a Gattling or a Paladan killing some trucks. Remember that Paladins can force fire in the middle of the trucks also standing on the opposite side of the supply. Don't waste units, if you are facing an horde of these, wait until your mate comes with Gattlings!
Tactic #2:
China's Build Order Take safe supply and make two War Factories. Nothing changes for you. Be careful for this strategy, if they will double you, you have no chance. In order not to lose to doubling, I suggest making a Bunker on the farthest entrance of your main base. This will slow them down. If you see they are attacking you hard, you can make a second, garrisoning your base.
USA's Build OrderDual Dozer. Send your second Dozer straight to your mate's base; you could also try to send a Patriot to China's unsafe, this will slow them down but your teammate would be easy to kill. Use a fast Strategic Center, Burton, and Tomahawks spam. Never do this strategy against an USA or Gla opponent. A Tech Terror or a drop can kill you in few seconds.
Tactic #3:
China's Build OrderFast Barracks, make two Bunkers and fill them with Tank Hunters. Take safe with the other Dozer then make a War Factory on USA's base. With the other Dozer, after you made two Bunkers, make a Propaganda Center.
USA's Build OrderOne Dozer strategy for you. Fast Strategic Center, Burton, Tomahawks spam. Never do this strategy against an USA or Gla opponent. A Tech Terror or a drop can kill you in few seconds.
