USA: Since you already got a sniper, you maybe could have used those left-over-rangers for dropping at bunkers (left&right) to slow down his supply gathering and also to gain more mapcontrol (maybe even try to capture some oil). Did you at that time also have the S&D on?... You would have FBed his ass off He would have to react to a ranger drop (so you know where he is going) and in the meantime you could attack the other side (destroy the tunnel and destroy/capture the oil).
Seems to me left-over-ranger drops against GLA are ideal (on td, mid/late game): - very effectively slow down the supply gathering and/or force the enemy to respond (moment can be exploited) - cheap (you allready have chinook and rangers free) - fast - little GLA AA (usually ; ) - extra map awarness - extra map control
GLA: Too bad your tech-terr-trick failed twice!!! Wasnt sloppy i think. Just bad luck he didnt chase the tech... Maybe it was too obvious for him what you were doing. (still you probably would have fooled me and many others)
