To make a slow rush vs fast tech is just bad, especially if u arnt destroying oil (Taifun = one of the best rusher at this ),

To lose the first lotus is just noob if you went fast tech ... the micro wasnt really special, look at the flamer or the the second lotus which could diable gat.
(Best fast tech player = Danzor )
