that was kinda frustrating to watch the china player. never retreated when he should, never micro'ed when he should and never thought when he should. it appeared like flo never heard of attackmove or guardmode, he could have saved like more than 10 gats if he just retreated and repaired them, he should have cleared that building in the middle faster, he kinda wasted his gat th and the most horrible thing was his gat sacrificing near the end - like 5 gats running one after another straight into MD's with a distracting dozer, it looked like he just put a waypoint into usa's base.
apart from these failures you could call it a good game (didnt really look for mistakes on usa side) - but i think i have eye cancer now and cant find the wub button

Well, I expressed it a bit more gentle but basically meant the same Maybe flo was away from keyboard as these 5 gats straight went into their death. Squaak had a great start imo, was wondering that flo came back into the game that fast
Cant judge the china player. I dont play this army. Nevertheless i would agree that it might be a bad idea to run gats into mds seperately. Nevertheless his bo was very good ... and at the beginning his fast change of focus to sqaaks base nearly gave him early victory ... (Squaak floated to 4K at this point and that was the only point i disliked because it was important to prepare early, i guess it was hard for him because he was quite busy at microing the oil war)
But it was a quite perfect game on USA side ... very good Micro + perfect Bo, fast adaption and high sense of effectiveness (@unittypes + @war)
9.2 Points for USA Gameplay

You're very rude with this replay imo. This replay is for sure much better than the "Scotsman vs Chemical" replay, with less micro mistakes overall and a much closer ending.
You can't expect a game where there is no mistake from both players as it's just impossible. If 1 players plays perfect and the other makes mistakes, the game would end much faster and wouldn't be close at all (i.e. the WS games I had against marco).
In the action, you sometimes makes mistakes based on the situation and how much the pressure is. For example if I want to point my mistakes : - Floating 4K at early game before china rush in the middle (I know exactly what to do at this point, but if I focus too much on my base and loose the side, I would loose the game much faster, I had to produce units in base, keep a look on incoming rush in my base + perfectly micro my inf at sides, which is hard)
- I lost 2 paladins to th's after I countered Flo's gat/th. I could have saved them but the micro was kinda intensiv at this point and sometimes u miss an unit. If I don't loose those paladins, I could ahve harrassed china trucks much earlier in the middle.
- Against the level 2 gat at end, I did a drop to kill china dozer cause I didn't know how much money he still had in reserve. He could have rebuid something. But the best choice here would have been to keep my chinook avaible and wait till the gat comes to kill my md's. Even with a perfect warm up + attackmove, no gat can kill 4 md's + avoid a distracting chinook.
Flo was very close to win at several points here. Just notice that if I fail the single LL, I instanly loose this game. Flo choose to send his gats 1 by 1 to not let me the time to regroup my md's which would have been more letal. Also don't forget that Flo attacked my base at the exact good timing at start, if he would have waited some more seconds, I would have had more units cause I was less busy at left side.
Also there was an usage of nearly all units you can use in an UvC here + a lot of general points usage, not dramatic mistakes from both and a very close ending that you can see very very rarely. If you guys expect the perfect game, you'll be disapointed cause there will never be one that can finish close.
Basically if this games doesn't make it to the HoF, we'll never have any UvC entering the HoF ever cause the standards are impossible to satisfy.
Imo some of you should go watch the Space Elit vs Vedz game UvC in the HoF section, its a game from 2004, I think you will be chocked that this game is the only reference of UvC in HoF.
You're very rude with this replay imo. This replay is for sure much better than the "Scotsman vs Chemical" replay, with less micro mistakes overall and a much closer ending.
Now I see
