Please note Commanders, letting someone else play in your name in an event is treated as cheating by GameReplays and will be punished accordingly. The fixed penalty for a first offence cheat conviction prescribed by the site rules is a 28 day suspension from GameReplays. The penalty for a second offence is a permanent ban.
Communications during the tournamentDuring the tournament you may need to get in contact with other players or the referees. This can be done via the
Gamereplays.org Official Discord channel where there is a dedicated ‘Remastered Tournaments’ -> #general chat room available. Please ensure you can access this chat room before the day of the tournament to prevent any issues on the day.
Seeding
For this tournament we will be actively doing seeding based on the players ladder position. So the higher you are on the ladder, the less likely you are to be placed against a higher ranked player in the first round.
Gameplay
For this tournament any faction is allowed including random.
Bugs and Exploits
Use of bugs and exploits is prohibited. Anyone who uses bugs or exploits in their matches will be immediately disqualified from this tournament with the potential of full exclusion from future tournaments.
Special Tournament Rules
In consideration of feedback from the community the following special rules will apply for this tournament:
Special Rule #1 - No Engineers & Transport Unit CombinationsParticipants in this tournament must not use Engineers with Chinhooks/APCs. Participants may still build engineers and use them by walking around the map. If an engineer enters an APC or Chinhook the offending player will forfeit that match and the point for that round will go to the opponent.
Special Rule #2 - Max 10 Minutes Between RoundsParticipants have a maximum time limit of 10 minutes between rounds. If a player is late they will be marked as Fore-fitting their games. This 10 minute timer starts from the moment both players have completed their previous rounds games. It will be at the Referee's discretion on whether or not to extend this timer provided they have been given advanced notice from the participants explaining why they will be later than the allotted time.
Map Rules
The following rules need to be set in game lobby before players start their matches:

Map FormatFor this tournament we will be using the following system:
- Losers Bracket: Best of 3 round - each player will pick one map that they wish to play with the decider being Tournament Middle Camp. Each map may only be played once during a series.
- Losers Bracket Finals: Best of 5 rounds - each player will pick one map that they wish to play with the decider being Quarry. The lower seeded player will pick the map first. Each map may only be played once during a series.
- Winners Bracket: Best of 3 rounds - each player will pick one map that they wish to play with the decider being Elevation. The lower seeded player will pick the map first. Each map may only be played once during a series.
- Winners Bracket Finals: Best of 5 rounds - each player will pick one map that they wish to play with the decider being Quarry. The lower seeded player will pick the map first. Each map may only be played once during a series.
- Grand Finals: Best of 7 - this round will have the winners bracket champion starting 1-0 up in the score. The losers bracket champion will choose the map first. In the event of a 3-3 score the final match will take place on Heavy Metal. Each map may only be played once during a series.
When it comes to deciding spawn positions, the positions will be picked by the player who didn't choose the map. So if it's player A's map choice then Player B will decide which spawn positions each player takes.
Streaming
The main stream for viewing the tournament will be
here. Players are more than welcome to stream their point of view of their own games however I would prefer if players refrain from streaming other players games as a third person, there are multiple reasons for this so I hope people understand.
Result Reporting
After the winner of each round has been determined, it is the responsibility of the winning player to report the victory. There is a short guide on how to do this
available here.
The following is required to report your results:
- Update score and upload replays to the corresponding 'Check-In, Bracket, Results and Replays' forum topic in the format: Danku 2 - 1 Khanomancer.
- @mention a referee in Discord to quickly confirm your result and that you have updated the corresponding 'Bracket, Results and Replays' forum topic.
Registration
Please note, there are further rules and information listed in the sign up forum topic so please make sure you are aware of these as well. If you accept the rules and wish to participate in this tournament, please post in the tournament discussion topic, giving the online username you will be using. Registration for the event closes 1 hour before the event is due to start. Entries after that time may be accepted at the discretion of the tournament organizers but under no circumstances will entries be accepted after check-ins have closed.
Please make sure you can access the Gamereplays.org Official Discord Server BEFORE you sign up for the event.
Please do not sign up if you are not 100% sure that you will be attending the tournament.
If something comes up and you are unable to attend the tournament, please post in the tournament discussion topic at once so that your slot may be reallocated to another player. Failure to show up without in-advance cancellation may result in exclusion from future tournaments.
We hope to see you on the battlefield, Commanders!
