Map FormatFor this tournament we will be using the following system for choosing of maps:
Map EliminationYou each take turns choosing what map to eliminate from the pool, for a total of 3 times each, since the map pool as 7 maps there will be 1 left alone. That is the map that will be played as the first game. After that game is over it is loser picks and host change
Note: the higher ranked player starts map elimination and the bottom player gets the first host.
Here is an example of map elimination.
Danku - Green Acres
Julz - Monkey In The Middle
Danku -Heavy Metal
Julz - Quarry
Danku - Elevation
Julz - Tournament Middle Camp
That leaves Tournament Desert as the only map left and will be then played in as the first map.
Just to be clear
loser picks means whoever lost the previous game gets to chose the next map.
For example:
Game 1 Julz win, Now Danku gets to choose the next map.
Keep in mind that even if Julz Started to host and it would be Changed over to Danku now the map choice still remains with the loser of the round.
StreamingAs the tournament will take place over the month, players are more than welcome to stream their point of view of their own games or while watching others playing - please ensure you keep a delay minimum of 5 minutes on your stream if spectating other players games to prevent giving potential stream sniping opportunities to their opponent.
