Interview with ApOcALyPs
ApOcALyPs' was the best of the rest, as there is no competition for the first spot at the moment. ApOcALyPs' won two tournaments, and a third place. He won the Continental Cup by taking out Hsn'Leb, which was quite a surprise. The other win was the 3vs3 ShockReplays Tournament, where he teamed with Vivid and the number 3 of this list: FlameIORI.
Because of this impressive quarter, GameReplays had an interview with ApOcALyPs' to find out more about him.
GameReplays: Where are you from? How old are you? Do you work/study?
ApOcALyPs: I’m 26 years old, from Lebanon, I am a survey engineer, and I work for an engineering company.
GameReplays: When did you start playing ZH?
ApOcALyPs: I started play ZH on 2014-2015.
GameReplays: Are there more games you like and/or play?
ApOcALyPs: Since my childhood, I’m interested in playing chess.
GameReplays: What is your favourite army, matchup and map?
ApOcALyPs: Air force and Summer Arena are my favourite.
GameReplays: Why is ZH so popular in the Middle East?
ApOcALyPs: I think this is because it is widely available due to its low cost.
GameReplays: How do you motivate yourself to play after so many years?
ApOcALyPs: No secret that I always watch Excal game videos, this is what gives me enthusiasm to achieve more.
GameReplays: What kind of tournament do you wish?
ApOcALyPs: I wish 3vs3 or 2vs2.
GameReplays: Any wishes for Zero Hour?
ApOcALyPs: I hope this liveliness surrounding the game continues and I hope it always has sponsors.
GameReplays: What do you think about a new patch?
ApOcALyPs: To be honest I haven't tried the new patch yet but from what I was looking forward it made a lot of interesting changes that I will try.
GameReplays: You won the Continental Cup and took out the main favourite Hsn'Leb in the semifinals. Did you expect to win beforehands?
ApOcALyPs: From the beginning, winning was my goal. Yes, I did not expect to face the biggest candidate in the semi-finals, but I was good and that's what happened, and I achieved victory.
GameReplays: The round before that, you had a very close set vs Goldfish (6-5) and needed a decider. How was this set for you? If you have to take a guess, how high was your heartbeat in the decider?
ApOcALyPs: It's been a long time since, I don't remember specifically but I think streamer he's the one who nominated the decider, I don't remember I am having struggled with his choices. The match up It was good, and I love it. It was very fun. I hope there will be more challenges to have the opportunity to play with them in the same team.
