OUTPOST LIVE: ZERO HOUR LAN EVENT
WhatThe yearly Zero Hour LAN Event, hosted by the Community Outpost. Main game will be of course Zero Hour, but there is plenty of opportunities to play other games as well.
There will also be an on-site FFA Tournament with cash prizes, free for everyone to join. Last year the prize pool exceeded a whopping €1,000 and this year it will even have a bigger prize pool. This tournament will be live streamed on
Youtube and
Twitch.
The LAN Event is the perfect opportunity to meet the friendly faces behind the online names, to share a few drinks and to have lag-free games.
WhereThis year the event will take place in Leiden, located in the Netherlands at
the Fletcher Wellness-Hotel.
The hotel is easily accessable through public transportation, it is 2 minutes away from the train station by foot and 20 minutes away from Schiphol by train.
WhenThe event starts at Friday the 11th of October in the afternoon and ends with the final of the FFA Tournament on Sunday the 13th of October. If you are staying at the hotel for the event, it is wise to book until Monday morning as otherwise you have to check out on Sunday during the event.
HowIf you want to visit the event, or even want to participate in the FFA Tournament, you have to get your ticket at
www.community-outpost.com. Here you can select if you are a visitor, want to bring your laptop or PC and if you want to join the FFA Tournament. Note that you will need to have a working PC or laptop to join the tournament.
If you are also thinking of staying at the hotel, which is recommended, you can book a room at the website of the hotel:
www.wellnesshotelleiden.nl/nl/. Default language is Dutch, but you will see a Dutch flag on the top right corner where you can change the language settings to either English or German. It is also possible to book a room at Booking.com, it depends on the time what method is cheaper as that has been changed from time to time.

WhoThe event is hosted by
