Revised Expert Promotion Process
The Expert promotion process has been revised to a transparent process based on tournament results and statistics. A quantitative data approach will be used to find the best PRO over a 12 month period, with the best PRO(s) receiving promotion. Listed below is the criteria for promotion:
- Winning a PRO only tournament, and being the best PRO performer in tournaments(mods and altered game modes are not applicable)
- Best head to head statistics vs other PROS , going positive against them in terms of won sets and in won games. A player has to stand out against other PROs (a substantial number of games will need to be played or will be dismissed)
- Best head to head vs collective Experts (a substantial number of games will need to be played or will be dismissed)
A team from staff will collect all the data, stats and results.
Note: the option to promote more than one PRO in a year is possible if there are many high performing candidatesNew Expert
