Welcome to the 123th TotW! This weeks tip will be a short but very useful tip about a trick that has helped me countless times. I didn't know about this trick for most of my ZH time and I'm sure many others still don't know about it, so it's time to share that knowledge!
The trick I'm referring to is for GLA only and features the Cash Bounty general's ability.
As GLA your Command Center has no purpose besides allowing you to use your general's abilities. As a result most people sell their Command Centers at the start and won't rebuild it until they reach level 3 and sometimes even later. $2000 can be a lot of money and when money is tight, a level 1 Cash Bounty or Rebel Ambush might not be worth the money. However, what most people don't know is, that unlike other general's abilities, you can use Cash Bounty without having a Command Center. This is how it works: Cash Bounty gets activated when you place a Command Center scaffold and not when the Command Center is completed like for other general's abilities.
Even better, Cash Bounty remains activated when you cancel your Command Center scaffold!
As a result you can still use your $2000, but you will also have Cash Bounty upgrade! This trick of course is only useful when you don't have a lot of money to spend, so it offers a great financial boost at times when you need it the most. In the end, it could very well change the outcome of the game.
3 easy steps
1. Select Cash Bounty
2. Build a Command Center
3. Cancel the scaffold Note: when you upgrade your Cash Bounty to a higher level, you got to do the same trick again to enable this new Cash Bounty level. If you don't, you will continue collecting money on your previous level!
