CNC Zero Hour

I practised with this guy alot and he clearly became one of my hardest challenges now Fun FFG with some cool scenes, have fun watching and a review would be nice. Game was quite laggy at times which made it pretty hard to control the units

Funny game, dunno what happened with me but halfway i lost any sense to play forth, was thinking about quitting, but didnt do it. My micro just sucked, maybe good play by spalding, but I know I can do better. Though funny game.

Spalding - USAV:


Good:
Killing gatling tanks @ flanks and mid.
Sending crusaders forward at flanks. (killing migs and supply trucks)
Rockvee drops.
Used burton ok.
Disabling his emperors with gen point and killing them with rockvees.
Base swap.

Bad:
Avenger at the back of your army (lost some units cause of that!)
You didnt used a strat center 'tactic' a long time, did you?
Not capturing or destroying (his) oil derricks a long time.
Didnt used the supply dock at your base a long time after he killed your other supply center.

Sapphire - China Tank:



Good:
Gats beyond supply docks.
Expanding in the middle.
(BN)Migs vs rockvees.
Capturing oil derricks.
Base swap.

Bad:
No early forward rax. (th's early on instead of 4th supply would have helped i think)
Letting your migs get killed after he killed your AF.
Disabling tanks, with all your ecms, so he could laserlock and kill your emperors easy.
Not killing 2nd rockvee(drop) straight ahead, while you just had 2 emperors @ your wf.
cash floating pretty much all the time.
Not protecting your base when you just swapped from base.
Didnt used your lotus too good, except for the oils.

Overal:
Great USA - Tank game! Nice action, drops and base swap! Sapphire had the map control and lots of money tanks and migs, but spalding turned it all the way around with his nice drops. Didnt get to see the end, cause of SE 2 times, but it was allmost over, GG.

That was a VERY VERY good game, clearly Elite and a ROTW contender for this week

There were mistakes, the main ones being poor MiG micro (why lose 4 MiGs trying to kill the crusader and when Sapphire lost the AF he didn't keep his MiGs flying which would have meant he didn't lose them when he built another AF).

Spalding played fantastically, constant MDV drops, lots of flanking, I didn't notice the 'poor' micro you are talking about . Sapphire did some really good moves, especially boxing your 3 chev hummer in with two Emperors (maybe more luck than judement but it worked great ).

Sapphire was floating a lot of cash at one point, but he used it to rebuild, perhaps if he spent it earlier he would have have a larger army which could have overpowered SPalding. However, Spalding was EVERYWHERE, building buildings all over the place .

I didn't see any Lotus action, she's VERY useful for disabling MDVs and for just general annoyance - Sapphire had the cash.

The piece-de-la-resistance was the leaflet drop , hardly ever used, but used to DEADLY effect here. This is a replay everyone should watch, it's not Legendary as Sapphire made too many mistakes (with MiGs especially) but Spaldings level of play was stunning.
