You needed to expand your base into the base to your left as soon as you saw he was defeated, that would have forced him to fight on two fronts. Also, you would have had a much shorter, and easier game, had you attacked his base directly much earlier on, going across the top bridge in your base, and in the base to your left, as this would have taken his focus off of the offensive as well.
Keeping in this until the end was good, but with a bit more diversity in your tactics, you may have enjoyed it more.

this map is so unbalanced its unreal, I play it a fair bit with random spots and the map itself is ok I guess. But middle is fcked up.. The top base and right bases have massive advantages over the left base. Like if you try and enter the left base form middle its so wide and open in comparison to the top base in particular which could be bunkered off with like one defensive structure. Right side isnt too wide either, its just left that is totally exposed. And left side supplys appear further apart then that of right side base as well
