Good game, thought it would be one of those rush games where it ends quick with one guy bashed, turns out to be quite the opposite. A close and a really entertaining game.
This replay contains:
Quick rush.
Big tank army
Big inf army
2 nuclear missiles
Nuclear missile capture
Loads of migs from both sides
Big firestorms
Active bunkers
Fighting over resources
Base trade
And a close ending.

Zz__(Inf) vs -ShiniGami` (Tank) on Summer Arena


A very hard game, with lots of action thanks to Zz__ doing so little to defend the middle entrance to his base.

  • So many wasted units.
  • Incredible amounts of floating throughout the game.
  • This is Inf vs Tank, all you've got to do is take the map control, and beat away at him. You moved so slowly in this game. In the beginning, you saw he went for a forward WF flamer rush, and in the middle you saw a red guard running toward the left-side oil, this would explain his whole start to you. Had you rushed him with just 1 dragon at the start, up the middle, or up the right side, this whole game would have played out differently; You had a whole 3:00 minutes to do this without any strong resistance up the middle, and more than 4:00 minutes to do it up the right side. Had you gotten in, even without doing any significant damage, it would have thrown his focus off the offensive, which is something you could have really benefited from in this game.
  • When you went to build your bunker in the right-middle, instead of placing it up near his base, you placed it on your side. This may be a nitpick, but if you put it on his side of the oil, it would have been more of a nuisance to him, because he'd be looking at it, and thus, giving it some thought. Also, it would have been better to build defensive bunkers at the middle entrance to your base, to give yourself an easier time holding him off. You had more than enough time, and money to do this. You could have expanded further that way, and started taking middle supplies. Instead of any of that, you decided to leave a gaping, undefended entrance into your base, and he took advantage of it.
  • Lotus did a lot, too bad she was killed.

  • Not a good start. If you're going for an aggressive WF for a fast dragon, you should pay attention to it as soon as it comes out of the WF, as not to waste it like you did here. Had you done so, you could have driving it around the left of his bunker, then down to his supply in time to flame away the trucks, and possibly the supply. At the same time, he would have been forced to send him Outpost to stop that dragon, which would give your next one the opportunity to flame away the bunker, then move in with an Outpost of your own following it. Had the game kicked off like that, you'd have been in a very good position. You could have begun taking your third supply in your base, and getting more WF's up(you can build another WF for every supply you've got). Then just overwhelm him early on.
  • Very poor dragon micro & decisions made you lose the left side easily. You can't expect him not to retaliate after your rush fails, so you should have an Outpost to counter his. To be honest, even with your start, you could have take your third supply, along with the supply behind your WF on the left side, and from there, you should have been spamming, not floating. You even had three dozers to make it easier for you.
  • Many units wasted. It is difficult not to lose units in this MU, but there is a difference between necessary losses, and thrown away units.
  • Taking the oils made up a bit for the time lost not taking more supplies.
  • Nice bomber towards the end, saving your base.
