A fine Nuke Mirror with some action from both sides.

5/10, for my entertainment.

Spoiler
  • Anticipating that Lix rush a little hardcore with 4 gats. tongue.gif
  • Smart Nuke Cannon left in your base in case he went to rush it while your first big army headed down the middle. But running into his Nuke Cannon was a shame, lost all those ECMs. Coming in with the Helix once he'd finished off your army, while he was confident, really turned the game upside down for him, destroying three overlords then flying away. Using Lotus during all of that was nice, seemed to hurt his focus on the other things.
  • That ECM and Helix micro at the end was a good way to end it, making him feel pretty much helpless.

Spoiler
  • Nice aggression early on giving him a little bit to deal with in his base and middle, along with a quick supply center in there to boom your economy. However, you really needed to react immediately in response to your oil being in danger, the oils are super important in this MU. Allowing yours to be destroyed put you at a disadvantage, even while you had the middle supplies. Also, going for a WF in the middle for building a defensive Nuke Cannon would have been my choice, to make defending straight on attacks easier. Had you gotten one, he could not have dealt so much damage with his army, as he would have taken many losses from a single shot, then the immediate second shot (which comes when the Nuke Cannon is promoted from the first shot).
  • Forgetting about the air game is also a mistake to watch out for. You had ample funds in this game to build some Helices (you build the AF then use the dozer for whatever else). Keeping at least one Helix on the battlefield forces your opponent to be wary of his gat numbers.

You must also remember that he will eventually be doing the same to do, which is why you've always got to have a gat or two along with your overlords and ECMs, otherwise you wind up losing three overlords, or more, like in this game.
