Gussi(Nuke) vs -CyborG-(Inf)
A big army wasting game, with nothing incredible other than the waste.
Comments on Gussi- Never, under any circumstances, build your barrack before your reactor, because it slows you down from the start, which will cost you the game vs a good player. I know you did it because you intended to grab both oils more quickly, but watching this replay you can see that your opponent, who built his barrack with his 2nd Dozer, could have gone for the grab earlier than you did.
- You had, so much cash throughout the entire game, yet you didn't capitalize on it the whole time, just wasting it like a madman at every chance you got. Ramming your army into his every time you go for his base is not in any way shape or form a good idea; Considering you money advantage, you could have bunkered the middle buildings, defended it with Nuke Cannons, ECM's, and Gatling tanks, then gotten Nuke MiGs; Around the time of your first attack you were floating more than $10k, an insane amount.
- Having an internet Center in this game was a shame, because you really didn't need one, but after you built one you had hackers around it, this is something your shouldn't ever do, because they will all be killed by a bomber or barrage.
- Overall: Horrible micro, floating too much cash, and lack of Nuke MiGs cost you a gg.
Comments on -CyborG-- Very poor macro, even in the beginning, when there is nearly nothing to keep track of. Your second supply should have gone up instantly, that means without any unnecessary delay; delays kill when it comes to taking money. Your opponent built his barrack first, but he still got both his supplies more quickly than you did, and he went for the oil as well, which you didn't deny him from taking. And you didn't try to take your own oil until 8:38, and didn't take or destroy his oil the whole game(except when you walked your Lotus into the Gatling turret he built there).
- Instead of an early airfield, you should have built another WF, and used outpost and dragons to take and hold the middle, then expand there, while trying to attack down the sides with the same(especially the left side, which was completely open until 7:00; The worst thing you can do as Infantry is allow your opponent to build up and get into the late game, because Infantry is the all-round worst late game army, you will do nothing but suffer if you don't do good damage in the beginning, like denying expansion to the middle, taking/destroying oils, harassing the sides, or in the case of this game, not losing your first outpost to a Tank Hunter by going for the main supply, when you could have turned toward the right supply, which would have allowed you to slow him down from teching up, and harassing that supply there would have taken his attention off the middle, allowing you to take it with ease.
- Nice use of Lotus in defending your base, but he would have lost it all anyway because his micro was so awful.
- Overall: You were just too slow and concentrated in one place the whole time. Try to think about how you can distract his concentration all the time, by sending attacks at every entrance to his base, this will keep him from attacking yours endlessly like he did here, and if he is just going to spam into your base like this, build a bunker and fill it full of TH's, it'll be impossible to get past with your army nearby.
