Moliere (iNNoMMaBLe)IPB Image vs IPB Image vlxs098 on TD OpenMiddle / NoCars

Close battle between Infantry generals on the sand of Tournament Desert, with lots of early aggression and sneaky tactics being thrown from both sides. A match were vlxs098's consistent man-spam had pressured Moliere in a tough position.

Comments on Moliere
  • Good move of sending in your Tank Hunters straight to the center for occupying the garrisons. The only downfall that you've made while doing this was not taking the building on the left side which would've helped you in dealing with his outposts.

  • Creating mini-gunners of your own have greatly benefited you out in countering the mob of tank hunters he had created in your base.
  • After one of your outpost successfully drove into the enemy airfield, it had just stand there without using the opportunity of destroying the MiG that were on it as well as the dozer near by.
  • Since you are left hanging on one supply with extra 3 supply trucks to spare, utilize them in a long distance mining to the resources in the. That way you won't experience the situation of witnessing only 1 out of 5 trucks collecting.
  • Don't leave your major flank unprotected, that being the middle. It was anticlimactic to see a bunker being empty for the entire duration of this match huh.gif.
  • A lack of micro have let to his supply trucks crushed some of your infantry, even though you had enough forces to stop this incident.
Comments for vlx098
  • Helix have came in the right time, sniping down two of the enemy dozers and as a result leaving him production-less. Your MiGs might have doubled the damage to his base if they were able to burn the tank hunters that had chased your lix away.
  • Upon seeing that your lix was trapped in the upper corner of his base, why didn't you evacuated. His supply trucks would've been picked off by your lix, as it was still in the air, which again provides you with a safe landing zone were you can drop off your forces and get them back to maximize your pressure.
  • Flying directly above the buildings with tank hunters & mini-gunners inside wasn't the best path to send your MiGs to. A more rational choice would be to set them on garrison mode and defend your base against unexpected outpost/troop crawler.
  • It was a major mistake on your part in not garrisoning the bunker on your left flank. The protection it provided against outposts without an ecms have saved your base from his attacks later on.

  • An attempt of destroying the dragon tank without the shield of an outpost was a mistake that wiped out a large portion of your army, which let your opponent recover and strike back.
  • Nicely done in sneaking in and capturing his WF with your lotus. This maneuver have payed itself off.
  • Carpeting his barracks was a nice start in taking out the remaining buildings of your enemy. Following that the artillery strike on his power would've crippled the speed of the remaining forces.
In conclusion; Decent inf mirror with a few micro mistakes along the way. The parts that have stand out to me were the spontaneous kill of the bomber by pink's mini-gunners and the unexpected murder of all of the remaining infantry by a single dragon. Map perseverance and micro are the key factors you might consider improving in the future games thumb.gif.

My rating for this replay would be 4.4/10.
