Ah! please leave Demo traps on proximity fuse, it pays off more often than manual detonation.
It was going well for Enock till he got hunted, but he made a good game of it with his aggression, managing to miss the traps and get your base.
Sadly, he failed to see the Ye` Olde tunneling Worker behind his bottom supply, and instead of focusing down your Palace with his big Vee army, he decided to hit on the buildings in the middle, wasting time for you to get a Command Center and deal the finishing blow.

early game it has to be proximity as its likely only going to be a single unit setting it off and you need to kill it. Medium to late game manual is good when large groups of units will come and you want the best detonation. But still I always put proximity ones where im not likely to be looking very often.

Exactly.
I stopped using manual a long time ago because it didn't pay off as often as proximity.

I make literal minefields on defcon on the side im not pushing, highly effective vs GLA's and if they happen to bring ten bus
Proximity for bus as well tbh, units like that are too fast for manual, especially when any lag is involved. But a big blob of scorps, oh thats definetly manual
