Good show knocking his Spy drone down, as it is very dangerous for an enemy AFG to have any vision over your base, although, he could see that you'd gone for two-barrack mass drop strategy, and should have been working on a counter in the meantime.

What he didn't get to see was your very unusual decision to destroy your own CC for the Rangers inside, as a means to save money and time building them. I do not recall seeing that for a very long time in a replay, even less that you sent the whole amassed army running into his base so you could remain on full-collection back at base.

Followed by that 3rd barrack down on the bottom-oil-hill, pumping out toward his base, very nice for ultimate spammage.

But it was during your initial assault of his base that you began to make your big mistake in this game, and that mistake was FLOATING (not spending your money on the things you needed). You needed to continue to train infantry from all of your barracks to maintain a steadily increasing army presence around the map. Additionally, you could begin expanding your economy by capturing the oil & building a supply center in the middle with the dozer in your base, and at his bottom supply with your dozer that built the 4th barrack.

That would have allowed you to boom massive funds, granting you access to whatever you needed by way of an army to conquer your opponent.

Do in one part to your negligence in the field of efficient & continual production, your base was left wide open to assault, and he took advantage of that to clear you out of the top-left base, and another part to your slow speed in rebuilding in order to reinforce yourself.

Having seen that he was going for a duel-barrack build order, you ought to have known that you would need a proper deterrent in order to maintain yourself in the early game.

Such a proper deterrent can be found in the form of a Firebase at the port-of-entry that he uses to assault your base, in this case, the bottom. However, this would have been difficult to know considering his army was not seen, so you would have wanted an all-purpose solution, in this case, a favorite of mine, going duel barrack yourself and pumping out Rangers, with Flash Bangs, and two eventual Raptors to pick off his Chinooks and dozers.

Because you spammed Rangers without Flash Bangs you were quickly dispatched by his initial attack, and because you hadn't gotten a 2nd barrack built, you couldn't return the same level of firepower that he was sending your way. Failing to survive his initial attack was the biggest mistake you made in this game, as it forced you to play the running game, which you did slowly. You ought to have gotten a dozer dropped in his base to begin rebuilding ASAP, while he was attacking.

And as for your Vee, you could have used that or a Chinook with a few MD's in it to find and hunt his dozer, while trying to pick off his buildings.

Rating for my entertainment: 1.5/10
A case of close but no cigar.
