netherlands[OoE]HuMaN1ty(USA) & england[OoE]`ExCaL^(GLA) vs england-WeB^Logic(Tox) & denmark-Web^SiTe(Stealth) on Fallen Empire


Here is a great 2 vs 2 between good players, although somewhat one-sided after a while. It involves lots of action and adventure, but the game isn't caked up by massive losses all over, instead the players are wary of what they engage, for the most part, and therefore cause the game to go on longer thus adding in some more entertainment toward the end that otherwise wouldn't have been included in this package.

  • [OoE]HuMaN1ty: Well, your Dozer denying the unsafe supply at least paid itself off. You should have moved your Chinooks away from your left supply when they were being harassed by Logic's RPG's, because losing them set you back harshly, when you could have gone for an early Strategy Center with the extra income, rendering opposing GLA's(without Palaces) in subjection to the will of your micro skills. Ah, rats, hunted, and in a way that couldn't be stopped as well. Very nice to see some Paladin Tanks in the field as a good counter against Scorpions. smile.gif But you could have been somewhat more aggressive with your Humvees. You should have quit right after you were hunted, then Excal would have had Power+loads of money to spam with against encumbered enemies, not to mention...Search & Destroy. Quit@16:21
  • [OoE]`ExCaL^: Excellent defensive line, and starting move against SiTe's AD, destroying it before he had anything to pop prepared. Very well executed attack on Site's base, ramming a Hijacker in the face with your Technical on the way in, dropping RPG's off to the left of his Tunnel, and having them to the South of it as well, firing from both sides thus rendering any pop useless. Nice to see you wasting no time in taking Humanities left-supply when his Dozer was hunted. tongue.gif Good job in defense, especially from what you thought may be in the shadows, such as killing Logic's Worker that he dropped off at 7:50 to rebuild his tunnel by the far-left entryway of the wall with your Uber-Tech just because you assumed he'd do that in addition to going for a TT on Humanities WF. Forget about Rebel Ambush as Vanilla GLA, just max out Cash Bounty for the long-short of any game. Once Humanity quit it was GG, having Power & S&D, with so much map control and cash.
  • Overall: Played like a well-oiled machine, albeit one with some parts missing; Humanity should have quit out earlier on(ASAP) so Excal could have had the full potential of their armies. Team Rating: 7.5/10

  • -WeB^Logic: Destroying Humanities WF delays his production of Humvees for a few seconds, whereas destroying his Supply Center on the left would have denied him the funds he was raking in while rebuilding his WF, if you could get to it, or just destroying the one on the right; I am biased towards destroying USA supplies over WF's. The TT on the left supply was made up for by destroying the Chinooks with your RGP-Tech, doing $2,200 in damage & rendering the SC useless. Going down that left side and destroying his supply was beneficial to taking map control in his base, but without an ally to back you up there wasn't anything you could have done to hang onto the ground you took against their superior numbers and army composition. Good Dozer Hunting before that Strategy Center went up, otherwise it'd be GG. Three AD's means big spam, but of what from what? You were on two supplies & there aren't oils on FE, in addition, you hadn't a Palace, so no Buggies to spam to counter Humanities Humvees. post-13661-1143531603.gif Your Scorpion army was very effective in taking back Site's base, but in attacking Excal's base it proved to be a good means of him getting promoted. Ah, Toxin Rebel Ambush, denied by a single Ambulance & Paladin Tank in the right place at the right time; Cool Technical just though, went like 4 feet off the ground for no reason. Ugh, gotta hate late death by late game bankruptcy. sad.gif
  • -Web^SiTe: Good job getting an unseen Tunnel behind Excal's defenses at the start, and then the next one right down in the left corner of his base, but the woes of having no AD as GLA are seen here, with nothing of any comparative strength to pop out and engage them with from either. Poor guy; You were just beaten to a pulp in no more than 4:00 minutes, making your sneaky Tunnels in Excal's base fruitless. Nice job getting your Palace up then having Buggies around to compliment Logic's Scorpions in Defense/Offense. To essentially take Humanity out of the late game all you had to do was place two Quads on the edge of the hill to shoot down his Chinooks collecting from your unsafe supply area.
  • Overall: Good cooperation, but the start from Excal killed the whole thing having Site be a parasite for so long rebuilding, the having Logic take his place as the late-game approached. Team Rating: 7/10
I will give this replay a 7.5/10 for my entertainment, and I would recommend Wubbing, even if it is outdated now.
