-NiCe- (Stealth) vs Dozer- (Air) on TDNoBugsCars

Solid Comeback from a Combat Chinook Crippling.

5/10, for my entertainment.

-NiCe-
  • The Supply/AD placement on the left was a bit wonky, but the real issue at the start was not telling your workers to get inside the tunnel before they were all run over. Bad trade there, 1 dozer @ $1,000+risk vs 4 workers @ $800+time-lost not collecting & -$600 from your supply dock.
  • Well done in the pop-wars that followed the start, effectively deflecting his Combat Chinook noobness why staying calm enough to rebuild. You may have been able to get a fake AD going up earlier to speed up your recovery; Personally, I'd have been a noob and tried getting one the second he left me alone.
  • When you popped in the middle to deny his Chinook that was collecting there, thus revealing the location of your tunnel, you should have known that he'd try to destroy it, as he had no reason not to. Just popping as soon as you saw either the Vee or the C.Chinook coming may have been enough to destroy both, as the C.Chinook was on low-health.
  • You were coming back strong around the 9:00 minute mark, and I figured that's when you'd just start to win on everything, but I was wrong, all of a sudden you popped from the tunnel you'd just finished up in the top-right corner of his base, and then you didn't split up the RPG's when attacking his Vees, so his one Raptor killed all but one. sad.gif Poor guys, they could have had long happy lives in this game otherwise. Also, you decided not to build a 2nd tunnel there, knowing full well that you were dealing with Air...& Raptors that will hunt your tunnels.
  • You really began to float starting in the mid-game, and your speed decreased a lot as you stopped expanding with tunnels. If you'd got the middle you should be on three AD's & spamming tunnels in his direction, the more you have the better. Investing into a secondary economy when his cash will be dwindling is a waste. Just get Cash Bounty and spam him out of the game, he shouldn't be able to keep up playing the way he did.

Dozer-
  • You may have gotten his workers with your dozer drop, but you could have picked up your dozer for spite.
  • Going for Combat Chinooks is not shameful, but there was no good reason to lose one to the RPG's he was popping in his base. So what if he has money coming in? As long as he can't expand, just hover around and build up your forces instead of wasting such power. And why did you leave his base? He couldn't have simply rebuilt his AD without you knowing, as that scaffold isn't stealth; You'd have easily been able to hold him back a long time with some micro.
  • You had so much vision early on, even a CC, so you had no excuse for allowing his Quad to go up the left-side behind your supply, or to allow him to build tunnels in the middle, or behind your oil. You could have been picking them off one by one with your Vees.
  • When you went for his tunnel on your right side with Vees, you already saw earlier that he was packing lots of RPG's, but you approached carelessly anyway, losing them all. Thankfully you got him back with a big 1%-damage (killing his RPG's with your Raptor).
  • Your floating went wild! 10k should never be hit outside of a three hour long 2v2v2 with massive lag-spikes.
  • The Vee micro also seemed to go down the toilet when you went to attack his base by running blindly into a stealth tunnel.
  • All I got from watching this game was the feeling that you weren't intending to play a long game in the first place.
