I’ve got quite a few friends who serve for the British army, Royal Marines and one currently applying for the french foreign legion. I’m sure I know my stuff and you’re just a ding bat.
Its like in the RAF, the RAF regiment do things like guard air forces bases, and go on patrols around the base perimeter ect. Not much else tho, they wouldnt be deployed into combat scenarios other than those tasks.
The US air force also guard the US nuclear missile silos, in the UK we dont have that as we use subs only.
