Seaside Mutiny is an interesting map. Not good for playing against AF, but then again, what map is? It's pretty balanced though, but I don't like 3 derricks and a refinery just stuffed in a little turtlable area.
Gameplay Overview: Good move to use a forward WF to take middle. You got so lucky that he took your gatt instead of your dozer. Good use of dragons to get those tunnels away. I think destroying all the tech buildings was a mistake though. You had already stopped his rebels. Good use of units to deal with all those tunnels and quad/rpg attacks. After you had an AF, you could have gone helix and did a dragon drop in the back of his base.
Pros:
Good use of units.
Good micro.
Cons:
Torched tech buildings instead of capturing them.
No lotus.
Player: [sFa] Side: GLA Stealth Team: None
Gameplay Overview: Good start with sending workers to tunnel up the map. Your supply was a little too close and you had one too many workers gathering. You should have sent your first hijacker to grab pi's dozer. It would have given you a gigantic advantage. You could have sent a tech/terror to take out his main supply and use your main group of quad/rpgs to take the middle. Trying to keep all those tunnels up on his side was hard, especially with roving dragons. You teched too slow and you didn't keep enough pressure on him. Try attacking from two places at once. Why just give up?
Pros:
Good early flank control.
Cons:
Constantly ignored important scrap.
'Ok' micro
Lulls in between attacks.
Final Thoughts: An ok game. Pi played well but the GLA player was very average. Rating: 6/10
lol i remeber demon1c v. omnirai tox v. nuke on dis map... demon1c got owned early but had control of da little place and ran arround with some workers doing a little tunnel spaz then he got palace up so nothing could get into the area but avenas aka omirai got huge force up adn started owning palace but dmeon1c had 1 bb and just finnished omnirais base in time that was awesome
He never got an econ up... but that's exactly what I was hoping to stop him from doing. I knew I could never hope to defend the tech buildings, so I figured I may as well obliterate them. Otherwise, I jsut tried to maintain control of the center and destroy everything he had on the flanks. I figured that if I could do that, I could win. And I did, so it was okay.
I mean, I'vealways liked this map... and random mirrors are pretty fun. Together this turned out to be a great match
