I dislike TD, just because it's overplayed, but I watched this replay to see how my two buddies were playing.

  • You were playing the version with Cars, sent terrorists to the middle, but didn't use any cars. eyebrow.gif
  • There was nothing you could really do to avoid losing your right-supply to his TT at the start, kinda unfortunate how you can't place it in a better position like the top player can.
  • Your counter-rush to his unsafe supply wasn't very effective, and wasted RPGs that could have been used elsewhere. In fact, seeing how he was going for the base race, perhaps destroying his barrack with those guys would have done a lot of good, slowing down his tunnels, but that's mere speculation.
  • Not managing to TT his AD was also a disappointing thing to witness, but that's why you try to drop the guys behind it and not in front.
  • Had you split up your Quad army, leaving one to defend your supply in his base that you'd taken, and the rest to guard your worker that went to take the other supply, you would have been in a lot better shape for making the comeback, not that it would be easy, but you could have at least gotten onto two supplies before he did, without having lost workers, and would have been in a position, still having your Quads, to defend and rebuild your main supply that he hadn't even tunneled in your base. - You losing your Quad army trying to destroy his middle tunnel was the turning point of the game.
  • Toxin Tractors - ???

  • Nice use of the TT to blow up his supply then actually focus down the area while he attacked your side.
  • Could have gone for the oils early on, considering the fact that he was stuck on one supply at the start.
  • When he went to attack your main supply, you should have sold the buildings instead of promoting his units, it wasn't giving you any significant extra time.
  • Keeping him from rebuilding in your base, on the right side, and running down his workers was a nice level of harassment that probably caused some frustration, but the real key was just how you built up an army (the most powerful thing in this situation is a big army like that), then steamrolled his base - taking the middle money was also a plus.
Anyway I look at this, it was at one point a close game, but then moves to being one-sided, as another learning game for the uploader in his two-part series against yamiyami.

2.8/10 for my entertainment because I didn't get to see the comeback.
