This is a good game for a GLA mirror, its not long so dont worry (14mins)
Quad and tractor spam wrecks & map control is over-rated
this game is classic me

Tox loses, and even if u saw 1000 gla mirror's b4, u didnt see one won like this.

I wouldn't say I've never seen this MU go this way, it just isn't usually done with so little finesse. You could have at least sent some works behind your quads to build a CC in his base. happy.gif

You were a bit slow/sloppy at times, same with him, you just made up for it with a well-timed push(before he had a considerable army), and without earlier duel-AD, there was no way for him to get enough scorps or a bus out to defend himself.

Lol, thanks needs refining a bit. My demo traps were good, one worked well defending supply then u see that other one I made in middle jsut off to the side, damn it didn’t work but u see what I was doing there. Very close to his tech path, next time..
And I just love tractors man so to use them effectively is so satisfying, the supply’s I’m referring to. Whether he knew or not his supply’s were fcked from those tractors. Contamination lasts about five minutes so he can’t collect that entire time. And a gla tox tunnel won’t even engage them so there’s one thing other glas have over tox haha


Funds were a bit low at start so I only took 3terrors and 2 RPG and took out his unsafe with all that which was pretty good, no chance I would have got his arms with the same tactic. But that slowed him so much then killing the oil and middle as well, he was like bankrupted.
Is terror teching the unsafe actually a better strat then getting the arms? They will always rebuild the arms easy enough as its their main base but trying to rebuild that unsafe is never gonna be easy with constant harassment there unless he gets a tunnel down. That said I probably only got away with that due to his forward tunnel placement that isn’t normally the case

It's easier than hitting the AD, but the reason you go for the Arms Dealer is the time it decommissions your opponents unit production, since the Arms Dealer doesn't rebuild in 3 seconds like USA or China, and it is critical for GLA to have Techs on the field in the early game, to deny map control, harass supplies, etc., hitting the AD is the better option, especially if you destroy it totally, as leaving the whole only costs them time, and not an additional $2,500.

You can always keep a stream of terrorists training, as the occasional TT can be very helpful in any game.

Ok cheers, yea I always have terror techs tbh no matter what point in the game generally. I try keep one around as an emergency tech for an army I can’t stop, and u will see it’s mormally my last ditch effort.
I use them a lot for taking out tunnels as well except tox ofc

tbh quads do wreck most things except pure tank spam, tox tunnels/inf bunkers. In hindsight middle was probably a large waste of quads but probably nescessary to prevent him bunkering it and getting those supplys.
If he prioritised bus above all else, my quads would get anhiliated without the AP up. And the palace would be a b1tch to deal with you're right (need mobs for that), but if I can deny his eco then killing that palace is like lowest priority and he cant do anything anyway. I would never have gone so quad heavy if his eco wasnt so messed, only way that tactic could work really.

And my neglect of hijackers was unfortunate
