-DeaD|EvO`(SWG) vs SuperGosu(Demo) on Jungle Wolf
A very unusual strategy is enacted by -DeaD|EvO` in this replay, one that is sure to entertain anyone, or at least make them feel like they can still try unconventional tactics and have them pay off. It is very entertaining, and had there been more back and forth action, with DB's destroying EvO's SDZ's and the game going on for a while longer with grizzly prices paid for each move I'd give this a Silver, but since there was a severe lacking on the side of Gosu it'll just be worthy of RoTW to me.
Comments on -DeaD|EvO`:- Keeping your CC, building 3 Dozers, going for duel-supply, and sending all 3 Dozers forward against Demo is an idea that most players would cringe at the thought of, because they never do so. It pays off here, giving you all of the map control in the early game, and allowing you to take an early 3rd supply.
- It is very good that you denied that Tunnel he had building in your base, had it finished it would have been game over right there when he popped his Quads.
- You should have gotten a Particle Cannon as soon as your Strategy Center was up, because it is so easy to do. And it works wonders against GLA.
- Overall: An awesome game for something different. You did pretty much all you needed to do throughout the game, not much to say about your gameplay in this replay.
Comments on SuperGosu:- Don't chase a Dozer down forever with a Terrorist, just get close enough and Force-Fire the ground to destroy it.
- Ah man, your Tunnel was so close at 99%, after that failed it was an uphill fight.
- TT's and DB's man, once the Palace is up you should have a few DB's on hand all the time for taking out his Power, and money; And you need to not use them on targets that don't matter so much.
- Use your Demo-Ambush on his Strategy Center every time you can and use DB's on his SDZ's, without those two buildings no USA can win in the late game against a GLA that can defend itself; Without doing this you will just be slowly torn apart by his onslaught of Generals Abilities, Auroras, Particle Cannons, and Humvees(All of which rely on those two buildings).
- Overall: Somewhat poor start, and your Demo Bikes weren't used efficiently, causing you to put up with a lot of stress and be brought down without a lot of effort by him.
I will give this replay a
7/10 for my entertainment, and
10/10 for the unique start.
