Was a bit different of a game, simply because of less units, but still enjoyable.
Well played to both of you.

FiReSToRm(Demo) vs -BiG^SiZe^(Laser) on Canyon of the Dead v1

I used this replay as a personal study as to how I should play on this map for efficiently. tongue.gif The constant back and forth action, very intense and intricate moments and moves all over throughout, kept me from looking away the whole time.

Comments on FiReSToRm:
  • Nice start with the map control and all, assuming that he'd go for the left-supply instead of the bottom with your first Tunneling, or you just wanted to have a protected close Tunnel; But you were late to harassing his bottom-supply, despite knowing that it was there and having the opportunity to drop of two RPG-Troopers there early on just to do some damage, maybe slow down a Chinook.
  • The first wave of your Technicals going in and being destroyed without doing any significant damage whatsoever is always a sad thing to see; Four(4) Technicals for three(3) MD's. sad.gif There wasn't much more you could do with them empty like they were other than not attack there at that moment. post-13661-1143531603.gif
  • Nice to see you keeping up with the TT's, but they were really getting stifled in this match; And your failure to harass his unsafe supply early on lead to him having the funds necessary to rebuild his losses; Plus, that full-TT stopped by his Rangers was a laugh.gif moment.
  • Again, a group of Technicals in, no damage, then dead; You may as well have Tech'd up and spammed a few TT's in the meantime to keep him busy. eyebrow.gif
  • Your fourth batch of Technicals was finally able to catch up and destroy a single full-tier 3 Humvee and a Supply Center, which was a good redeeming move, keeping him from the $11,625 that remained to be collected; Except he was floating $5,000, so he had little trouble rebuilding what supplies you destroyed.
  • Nice split with your DB's against his Humvee's, finally doing some good damage to them; Along with taking out his oils.
  • Very nice use of Kell's remote demo-charges as opposed to time demo-charges to get a lot of damage done very quickly, and then Martyring him against his Humvee's when he was being pursued; Them rinse and repeat with him. thumb.gif
  • Overall: A few things could have been done differently in the beginning, but it didn't matter by the end, because Cash Bounty and Demo Kell are winners.

Comments on -BiG^SiZe^:
  • I could tell you haven't played this map a lot, and probably figured on keeping your CC in case there were cars, but honestly, keeping it made it a lot more interesting to watch, for me, and starting your WF so late(in terms of the average time) also added to it.
  • Hmm, not much done with that forward Dozer, apart from a bit of delayed collection from his right-supply; The Chinook collecting from his main supply was cool.
  • Very nice defense against his first Technicals, losing only $900 against his $2,400 with little effort, then cleaning up his Tunnels in the area below your base with high-efficiency, losing nothing in the process; Only to come back to your base in the next minute to fend off his 2nd wave of Technicals, again with relatively few losses.
  • Keeping up with some mild-harassment of his supplies and then fending off his 3rd wave of Technicals without losing a single Humvee again was fantastic. w00t.gif
  • Taking the oils despite adversity, and getting the hit on his AD and main-supply with your A10's, taking away his production and collection for a time. thum.gif
  • Ah man, the harassment got intense; If you could have gotten Burton into his base to set some charges you'd have really been able to mess with him in the late game.
  • That Comanche was such a good move, and you played it perfectly by sending it away like that, so he would just drive up close without seeing it, then you get Kell and the Ambulance; It's just too bad you sent your Comanches to the Airfield when you did, getting them both destroyed by the Quad. sad.gif
  • Overall: Just incredible play in all fields this game; It was just your inability to really get to his base.

I will give this replay an 8.4/10 for my entertainment. A Wub is highly recommended.

Thank you; I was only at Boycah's level at my best, which was good enough for me.
