Nice high level game, interesting map for a tank mirror, for once the miraculous comeback was not just about gen point destroying an entiere army but purely decision making.

Super clean early game, except for that nasty lazy supply placement. Most agressives first two unit on the map kept Roll in his base at start and then he managed to take and secure both islands while stoping every sneaky units coming at him without taking any dammage. Also managed to sneak a pretty effective outpost a bit later on on Roll's third sup.

Unfortunately, as tiny as the window for Roll to come-back into this game was, FreeStyler let it open and didn't cover the middle enough.

Him going for expansion meant order of the lotus would come slightly later and he sent a few of his tanks on the islands on top of that, while Roll just grouped all his forces in the middle with faster tech.

It also seems he didn't spend his money efficiently during this timing, queuing multiple units at once, as shows the fact he got 3000 $ back in the bank after Roll destroyed one of his war factory. He definitely could have build a third war factory instead, or even Helix/Tank hunter, anything would have help to defend during the very short timing Roll had a chance to take the game back in control.

Use of genpoint on Roll's base at the end was most likely a mistake, though it was an understandable choice. Roll was about to run short on money so losing his production building or supplies could have been a problem as it is an expensive and guaranted loss, yes. But from an obs perspective that isn't in the heat of the moment, it appears that targeting the army was probably the better choice, even though the chances of missing it were high, it was the only way to actually win at this point.

While FreeStyler outplayed him in the early game, it was still decently fought, not suffering any big loss. Then he made the right choice to go for the middle push just before FreeStyler could definitively secure himself the win with the enormous map control and money advantage he amassed.

Lotus sent on the island was also a good play, if it wasn't for her, FreeStyler would have most likely recover even from losing his main base. But with one base going down and one being harassed by Lotus, FreeStyler was unable to produce another army that could stop Roll's.

Good game, not particulary spectacular ( no gen point total ownage or clutch Helix that turn the game around ) but interesting and well fought, wp !
