Pialpha94(Inf) vs Dense(Tank) on TDNoBugsCars

Here is an entertaining Inf vs Tank match between two good players; Dense, a new(to our knowledge) player who brings a lot of action to all of his games, and Phialpha94(PePsI) and old player, who used to be a replay reviewer, so he should review this game himself, since it was a good one. tongue.gif
I would say that you should consider giving it a Wub, as it does include action, adventure, and a big show ending for both players.

Comments on Pialpha94:
  • Although it isn't always a must as Infantry to use a Bunker on one side of your base, I would say that it is a very safe move to make, especially when someone goes forward WF against you(if you were able to get 2/3 TH's inside).
  • Never drive into the flames of a Dragon Tank with an Outpost unless you have sufficient infantry inside to destroy it almost immediately.
  • Nice job clearing him out of the right side with ease after that bit of stress; And good aggression toward his base, but you had nothing to follow up with.
  • You've got to load extra infantry into your Outposts early on to increase their affect on the battlefield, and at the same time build a Bunker or two at any point in your base that he keeps entering from, that will give you a much more pleasant time defending than trying to catch his Tanks once they have already entered and are trying to hunt your Dozers or your supplies.
  • Very cool attacks all over his base, clearing him out in only two minutes! even him having all that extra cash and the scaffolds wasn't enough to stop your spread out army that could go all over the map to destroy whatever he had left.
  • Overall: Somewhat shaky in the beginning, with a lot of units lost and some buildings lost as well, but due to his very small attacks which mostly did more harassment than damage you were able to come back using some well thought out(or chance happening) aggressive attacks on his base, which worked well because you were able to come up from multiple sides against him; I still believe you should have built at least a Bunker on your left flank to deter him from using that path, and then one above your WF to protect your production, but none the less, well played.

Comments on Dense:
  • Quite slow on the first supply(48 seconds), and even after it finished your forward Dozer wasn't in position to build the WF; This is just something, but not something important, as a Dragon Tank spam down the right side worked very well for you due to his duel WF instead of Bunkering.
  • Good counter of the first Outpost using TH's to the middle along with RG, very effective against a fast Outpost, especially on TD.
  • You've got to be very vigilant all the time with your Dragons, once that Reactor was down you should have regrouped your tier 3 one with your Outpost and a Gatling to harass and waste his time, then you build a WF on the left side to attack down that way; Your aggressive Barracks down by the right bottom supply wasn't a good idea, you should have built it right by the WF immediately after it finished and then spammed TH's from it(this would have made a big difference with your flamer rush against his base).
  • Capturing both oils could have been done a bit earlier, but so long as you get them it is good.
  • Good job on the Dozer hunt, always hit the soft targets.
  • If he has no Dozers you can forget about destroying his supplies with your Generals Abilities, just destroy his WF and it's GG.
  • Ah man, watching you go down in the end was a sorry sight, I must say, I expected you'd win this with all the excess you had; All you needed was a Bunker on the right side, and some MiG's to defend against his attack while destroying his last buildings.
  • Overall: Very nice fast playing, with a mostly straightforward approach to Infantry, but a few mistakes in targeting, You need to destroy the most meaningful targets, in this case, his WF and Barracks, you had the Dozers in mind, which you should have, but you focused a bit too much on his supplies, when you should have just gotten a Dragon down the left side and early typed a "GG" to him. tongue.gif

I will give this replay a 6.8/10 for my entertainment.
