Skill rating: 3.5/10. I would rate the skill level of this replay as mid noob. Both players did not have optimal start builds (although not too bad), and were very slow / indecisive for the most part of the game.

Entertainment rating: 3/10. A long tedious game with a decent comeback at the end, but quite the camp fest.

Your start build was not good at all, and you effectively gave control of the middle to demo as toxin from the first minute. That middle tunnel is crucial on TD, especially as tox which can usually take the middle no problems from demo. Your tunnel by the oil was good however and allowed you to get oil up and expand to the right side (which wasn't being pressured as it should).

Going palace on 1 war factory at the time you had definitely lost the middle was a good idea, as there was no realistic way to clear the middle with dual arms, in which time your opponent would most likely have a palace up.

I liked your use of scud launchers and busses, they turned the tide of the game and made your opponent lose a lot of units.

Good decision to make mass markets once you got palace up, it was your only chance to stay in the game. The money actually became quite even mid-game and it allowed it to be a closer fight.

You were lacking the fortified structure upgrade late game. It is very important as it gives all of your buildings extra HP.

Good start build order, lacking one tunnel at your unsafe, but this was fine as I think you were going for a faster tech terror. Your second supply placement was way too far from the dock, so bring it closer for maximum worker efficiency smile.gif

At about 3 minutes in, you could have closed the game and won it by engaging his second supply, but you went back for some reason!

The supply you got up in the middle (your 3rd supply) again was very inefficient and should be placed closer to the crates for faster collection. Also, you need to take your oil way faster. Queue up a rebel and the capture upgrade to the oil whenever you can. It makes a big difference!

At 7.30, you still had a massive advantage and made the correct decision going dual arms (should be followed up immediately by palace). All you have to do from here is camp and build demo bikes and superweapon / jarmen and the game should be over. I didn't see a single demo bike from you!

At 11 minutes, you had such an advantage that you had all mid, there was no need to send your units out and engage with the busses. Just tunnel spam a bit, spam some demo bikes, make a bus or two of your own, and it should have easily been your win. At this point, there was no need to make so many attacks. If you wanted to counter attack, do it when he makes a big push, but again this shouldn't be very necessary

Nice market spam, but he had already started building markets a long time before and was still in the game.

A big thing for you to remember: only engage when you have a big army or you know you can make a good trade with enemy units. You were engaging with 3 or 4 units at a time, losing them and then repeating. Also remember to move back your buggies if you think a bus is coming, and use jarmen for vision.

When you had so many markets, you need to throw down another arms dealer as well. GLA can survive with little markets and cash bounty alone. 2 WF was not nearly enough.

The sneak attack came at the moment you had just got your 4th WF up. Lol. The loss speaks for itself.

Good effort though however, and GG.
