Wow, just wow i really enjoyed playing this game and at the end of it realised that it would be great for people to watch. It has everything and tbh you wont guess the winner coz it swaps around like mad untill the end!!!

Pretty good game...I'm surprised it lasted so long though.


Anyone that has trouble fighting Humvee spam as GLA should study this replay. Egc.vm (VGLA and Demo) did an excellent job at killing Humvees early on with Tech RPGs and Quad + RPG. They both tunneled [YL]'s unsafe and were able to double team quite easily because of this coordination. Also, they teched to Buggies fairly quickly, and they actually worked really well since neither USA player had a critical mass at this point. The reason for this? Successful early harassment by GLA.


Egc.vm really did a hell of a job to survive that long with VGLA and Demo against USAF and a developed SWG. They were almost able to eliminate USAF in the first few minutes, and I think they definitely could have if it wasn't for one key mistake: Demo (cyan) terror teched USAF's unsafe supply when he could have terror teched his safe supply. Since Egc.vm already occupied [YL]'s unsafe area, it was pointless to terror tech that supply -- he wasn't going to be using it anyways. If the Demo Egc.vm player had terror teched USAF's main supply then it would have made him extremely poor and with proper pressure the game would likely have been over.


Was surprised to see that neither Egc.vm player got worker shoes and neither [YL] player got supply lines. Both are critical upgrades. Also, why didn't USAF rebuild his unsafe supply once he removed GLA's tunnels from that area? The game would have been over a lot quicker if USAF had twice the amount of cash intake.




Pretty entertaining game and a great tutorial for GLA players that get frustrated with Humvees.

He he... i sent ma nooks to the supply at end instead of rebuilding it as there was no point in wasting 2k on a supply centre. and u dnt buy upgrades in a game like this when its all bout skill and not cash... its a waste of time and money IMO.

Real good game, but the first time the partical cannon was used on the arms dealer, it could of been directed to attack the supply stash next to it, cutting some supplys for a few moments, money that is costly durring a game like this one.

Well yes there was no point rebuilding a supply after your first one was empty, but about 8 minutes into the game you removed GLA tunnels from your unsafe and you could have rebuilt the supply that got terror teched. You would have had twice as much money, and therefore twice as many units, and you could have gotten Strategy Centre + S&D for free Carpet Bomber and ownage Humvees. Trust me, if you got that unsafe supply quicker, the game wouldn't have lasted so long.

A game is NEVER all about skill. Cash will always be one of the most important factors in a game. With Supply Lines you guys would have gotten your money much sooner which means you'd reach critical mass of Humvees sooner, and you'd also be able to get a Strategy Centre quicker. SWG definitely should have gotten the Supply Lines upgrade since he had a bunch of Supply Drop Zones...you get way more cash dropped with that upgrade. And he got the Strategy Centre up pretty fast so there's really no excuse for not getting it.


You are a skilled player but you'd have a much easier time if you had more of an open mind for upgrades. You're saying it's not worth the investment of spending 800 credits so that your Chinooks bring in an extra 60 credits everytime? Not getting Supply Lines is almost as criminal as not getting Subliminal Messaging as China.


Both GLA players would have been able to mass Buggies much quicker if they got Worker Shoes upgrade. Not only that, but they would have been able to get AP Rockets upgrade almost right away. As GLA against USA, I almost always go with Buggy Ammo --> Worker Shoes --> AP Rockets. AP Rockets is extremely underrated, why not spend 2000 credits to make your mass of Buggies 25% better?





EDIT: Oh, and you don't need a Replay Reviewer to give you a review...Senior Soldiers can do it too.
