Ok i have 4 replays against some guy, there were all fairly close, some quite short tho, with some nice battles, probly not the next rotw but i think u will find them interesting.

This was a slightly longer game than the others, was hard to deal with his tunnel spam early on, shouldnt have lost my helix, just got my micro wrong. A few nice battles smile.gif

Player: Be|^Gen
Side: China Nuke
Team: None

Gameplay Overview: That was well played at the beginning. It's hard to guess where Workers might be because of how big the open areas are. You were tunneled in, unfortunatly, and pounded constantly with a barrage of different units. You used the few units you had well, and finally pushed away most of his tunnels. Your Helix micro could use a little work. tongue.gif Seeing as you were on the defensive most of the game, that Helix was important and you lost it to something just silly. At this point, you look as if there's no chance you can win. You held out as long as possible against all odds and played pretty well, and things looked like they might be turning for the better as he had only one BB. But alas, you lost.

Pros:
  • Excellent early play.
Cons:
  • Terrible Helix micro.

Player: [aSx]a1rforce1
Side: GLA Toxin
Team: None

Gameplay Overview: Good job of exploiting Barren Badland's large open areas to sneak Workers around and tunnel him in. Your combos of Quads, RPGs, and Scorps was excellent, but your micro towards Dragon tanks is terrible. Usually, it's a very bad idea to send rpgs INTO the flamewall to kill the Dragon. Try and use tanks whenever possible to deal with them. His base was crammed together, and that just screams 'TECH/TERROR ME!' You could have easily taken out three important buildings with 4 terrorists. You eventually lost most of your foothold on General's side except one tunnel, but not after doing quite a bit of damage. You teched up nicely, but were floating a bit around the time your first BB came out. Any time you snipe something cool like a nuke OL, for the love of god, DON'T TRY TO BLOW IT UP! TAKE IT OVER! You need to rely way less on BBs and use more quad/buggy combos. Things like that will shred most units, and you don't look like a BB-abusing noob, either.

Pros:
  • Absolutly excellent early play.
Cons:
  • BB abuse late game.
Final Thoughts: That was quite a fun game to watch at the beginning. It was a great example of how toxin should be played early game. If the game hadn't sunken into noobass BB abuse, I would give it a higher score. But, considering that General played pretty well under the circumstances, I think I may just move this to Elite. smile.gif
