DENSE MY BOY, go read the RaGe's pro tips of the weeks back please!
Critical analysis: Dense: You were doing well, you were promoted, you kept Kassad small and delayed his mining from his main supply (with 50k in it)
BUT THEN, OWWWWW DEAR LORD WHAT DID YOU DO
Yes we all saw it, dont deny it, its on video now. You started building HACKERS. And then we all saw what happened next.
So Dense heres what you should do next time: - instead of making hackers build lixes and more units and keep pushing, any supplies you conquer from the enemy --> take them. - your support power usage was absolutely atrocious, sure you had some nice hits with EMP's and maybe a nice hit with a carpet here and there on some groups of units but you didnt kill ANY markets and that was your downfall --> to kill a market with a carpet you need to place the carpet icon more towards your base (so where the carpet is coming from) so more bombs will hit the target - a carpet does NOT kill fortified structured supply / warfactory (so these were wasted carpets) - 8/10 times a 2 level artillery doesnt kill an oil (unless it placed PERFECTLY, but this is very hard) - Basically what you see happen in this video is that the longer the game progressed and after kassad was teched up and had more and more markets the effectiveness of your attacks became less and less and were easier and easier to defend for him, due to more tunnels, jarmen kell, demo rebel ambush. you threw away your early game advantage by going into an secondary econemy war and therefore you lost. - in my opinion helixes are a better choice since they generally have a better damage to / cost price than migs and are easier to control and you can do quick hit and run tactics, plus if hes out of his basewith his quads you can destroy his entire base with them AND they dont get taken out by demo rebel ambush (and are great vs demo bikes / buggies)
What you nicely was to try and keep pressure up and had some nice 2 front attacks with 2 grous of ecm / outpost / troop crawlers
Conclusion: DONT make hackers vs GLA, keep pressing, make lixes instead of migs, used all your support powers to keep his market count down (so all your 2 level shells on markets and learn to place your carpet better)
KASSAD
Overal decent GLA play, you seem to know what you' re doing BUT: - horrible float, if you wouldve just put that 10k into marketssomewhere you wouldve gained the upper hand way quicker (not so hard to select a worker and press M) - had you used demo bikes in combination with your quads and did a 2 way attack on his outpost / ecm armies you wouldve been way more cost effective - did you get AP ammo? Also when you had a big base the repair upgrade wouldve been a good choice for your quads - some more tunnels wouldve made countering his armies easier because you have more angles to attack from
