Rules and Formalities

Event Format

The tournament will be played as a single elimination tournament in best of three rounds up to the semi finals, which will be played as best of five rounds. The finals will be played as best of seven rounds and the 3rd place play-off will be best of five.

Number of Players and Tournament Format

Players will play in teams of two. Players are free to chose their own teams. Players should declare their teams when signing for the event and both members of the team should sign. If you are unable to find a team mate, the tournament organisers will attempt to allocate you to a team with another unallocated player.

Players are free to chose such factions as they see fit. If referees or commentators want to observe your game, you must open a slot for them. Not letting commentators or referees in may result in you getting disqualified from the tournament.

  • Backwater Brawl
  • Coastline Chaos
  • Craters of Carnage
  • Downtown Dustbowl
  • Redzone Rampage
  • The Battle For Middle Eqypt
  • Wrecktropolis
The map selection is fixed and not negotiable.

A map may be played only once in each round unless all of the other maps in the pool have already been played in that round, in which case it may be played once more.

Seeding will be fixed by the tournament organizers prior to the start of the event.

Result Reporting and Replays

After the winner of each round has been determined, it is the responsibility of the winner to report the victory to a referee and to post the result and the replay(s) in the specified results thread. Players may not proceed to play their next round unless and until the replays (both defeats and victories) from the previous rounds have been uploaded to gamereplays.org as directed by the tournament rules or staff.

Conduct at the Event

Players are expected to assist in the conduct of the event. Accordingly, conduct which tends to disrupt the event, including a failure to follow the instructions of the tournament manager or staff, interrupting or intervening in announcements made by the tournament staff or discourteous or disruptive conduct generally may result in forfeiture, sanction or disqualification from the tournament or future tournaments. Players or individuals that disrupt or attempt to disrupt the event may be kicked off line and banned from return during the course of the event or future events. The decision of the tournament manager on all matters concerning the conduct and outcome of the tournament is final and not open to debate. Questioning any such decision is likely to be treated as disruptive conduct.

Out-of-Sync (OOS) Errors

In case of a desync or out-of-sync error, the following policy applies: You must save the replay, and a tournament staff member will review the replay. If there is a clear winner, that player will advance. If not, the match will be replayed. The staff member's decision is final and non-negotiable, and failure to comply with the decision may jeopardize your eligibility for future tournaments. Repeated OOS errors in relation to a particular player may indicate abuse. Should this occur, the player in question may be disqualified and banned from future tournaments.

Cheating/Disconnecting/Dispute Resolution

All reports and issues will be resolved by the tournament manager and the referees. Cheating and intentional disconnecting will result in exclusion from the tournament and a ban from future tournaments hosted by GameReplays.org. Poor sportsmanship may also result in disqualification from the tournament.

Ladder Wars Tournament Rules

To the extent that these rules do not expressly provide otherwise, the Ladder Wars Tournament Rules apply to this event.

Being Late

Players should check-in with the tournament staff in the tournament lobby at least 5 minutes before the event is due to start. Players that fail to check-in or that do not show up within 10 minutes of their allocated match time might be disqualified. At this point, an alternate player may be allocated to their position, or the opponent will advance. Players are expected to continue playing until eliminated or until the end of the tournament is reached. Failure to play rounds in an expedient manner may result in disqualification.

If you accept the rules and wish to participate in this tournament, please post in the Tournament Discussion Topic, giving the on line ID you will be using. Registration for the event closes 1 hour before the event is due to start. Entries after that time may be accepted at the discretion of the tournament organizers.

Please make sure you have signed up for Revora and are able to access Tiberium Wars on C&C:Online BEFORE you sign up for the event. If you have any problems with C&C:Online at all please make a post in the Revora Support Forum, once you have read the pinned topics there. If you have not played in a Tiberium Wars or Kane's Wrath event on C&C:Online, when signing up please include your Revora ID and confirm that you have already been able successfully to log-in to Tiberium Wars using C&C:Online.

Please do not sign up if you are not 100% sure that you will be attending the tournament.

If something comes up and you are unable to attend the tournament, please post in the Tournament Discussion Topic at once so that your slot may be reallocated to another player. Failure to show up without in-advance cancellation may result in exclusion from future tournaments.

We hope to see you on the battlefield, Commanders!
