The Devastator Warship is the heavy artillery airship of the Scrin armada. It is faster than the GDI juggernaut, it has a long firing range and deals significant damage to buildings, infantry and vehicles. Very practical, this airship will cross all obstacles (like mountains and rivers) but it is not very resistant against AA units like Venoms or Firehawks.

The Devastator Warship
The Devastator Warship is a good unit against virtually all land based units. It is similar to the GDI Sniper in that it is a very effective infantry counter while serving its primary role as the heavy artillery of the Scrin army. The Devastator Warship is not very resistant against AA units like Venoms or Firehawk but against Pitbulls and Bikes, the devastator destroys them easily unless they are well micromanaged.

The Devastator Warship is very effective against all structures. It can destroy the defenses of your opponent from a safe range keeping your ground forces safe and secure. Shorter, smaller structures are more resistant than taller, larger structures because the weapon of the Devastator Warship is fired in line (as you can see in the image below.)
Devastator warship are effective against buildings
One option to increase the effectiveness of the Devastator Warship is the Ion Storm. Combined with a Planetary Assault Carrier or in range of a Storm Column, Devastator Warships become significantly more effective. The Ion Storm can also repair the Devastator Warship but at a very slow rate. This tactic can be a extra difficult for your enemy as well (for example: if he send Venoms or Firehawks, the Ion storm will damage or destroy these units.) Additionally it can destroy the economy of your opponent. In fact, the Devastator Warship can easily destroy (at large range too) Tiberium Cristal.
There is 1 upgrade for the Devastator Warship:
The Forcefield Generator: 5000$
This is the most expensive upgrade in the game. Although it is pricey, this upgrade is very practical because it helps protect the Devastator Warship from damage and your opponent will use more AA units or AA defenses to destroy your Devastator fleet. It also protects from EMP attack too that is very important if your opponent has an EMP center. Two others units share this upgrade: Tripods and the Planetary Assault Carrier.
