Holly fuck, I don't know about you guys, but I think this game was epic. Wanted didn't agree with me, so now you guys decide about it biggrin.gif

I agree with Wanted. He ran out of cash and never managed to break your hold on the middle.

I think you guys didn't quite realise, when exactlly my safe tiberium field started kicking in. I was forced to expand onto it, in the middle of the battle, wanted had a wide open window, but didn't quite manage to use it at the best of it's potential.

However, I always appreciate other people's opinions, and I did not take my time to watch it again through his point of view, but from where I stood, I had a feeling I did quite well to spot all the crazy shenanagins he had in store for me, and that he had his chance, but simply blew it.

Yeah wanted never was able to break your hold, though you did well maze. I reckon it was still a good game. Just not crazy epic. I still enjoyed it though was entertaining.

I don't think it should even be classified as good. If this was epic then I should upload pretty much every replay I've ever saved.

Wanted was pretty much always 1 step behind all game and never had a chance to gain control of the middle (nor seemed to bother chasing after the bottom spikes). Maze played "ok" though could have played much safer and won much faster by teching quicker instead of transitioning to heavier pred and could have secured his bottom expo much faster. A second mcv from his 1st wf down to his bottom field instead of heavier pred would have let him eco up down there faster and then use double sonic drop to fend off any counter attack wanted had to hold his middle.

This is a question of playstyle, if I don't make the exact same builds as you, it doesn't mean they're any weaker. After all, I did end up winning it. I just felt like he had me after capturing my tech, and his quick inf transition against my mass tanks, which got slaughtered in no time. Plus he got a lot of money from middle blue, which I never even touched.

Besides, this replay can be useful for people who have hard time dealing with early apc's.

The build I suggested would have won you the game much sooner. You went for an unecessarily aggressive build with preds when sonics would have been much more cost efficient. You also almost suffered from your cocky tech placement which has worryingly become a bit of a trademark for you.

You do so much of the fundementals right and have an incredible understanding of unit switching but when you make these really glaring errors I can't quite work out if it is you just being insanely over-confident or it is you being oblivious.

You do realise an MCV costs 3500, and that I was alreaday barely working my way being at 10-50 at all times.

But yeah, nice observation, I was pretty confident of my victory with tech, as i would just have to crawl my way to him. Normaly I don't mess around with it's placement, but I'm just too quick to click the placement, wihout thinking it through for a second.

You do realise that preds cost $1100? 1 MCV costs 3 preds and an additional $200. Did you need to have that additional build queue of preds? Not at all, especially since he was just going inf and you went multifactory preds too late so you are never going to build up a critical mass to be able to crush all the inf. You could have easily just kept the pressure on with your manspam, gone 2nd mcv off 1st wf and teched faster and when he started to fend off your manspam he'd be hit in the face by 2 mcv sonics and you'd have 3 fields to his 2 and then you could switch to pretty much anything you wanted to do and won like 4 mins later.
