GG. Never expected a no-expansion rush. Helped his econ early on a lot imo. I shouldn't have lost that tank battle though, I wasn't paying attention smile.gif d'oh!

It didn't seem he was either post-13661-1143531603.gif

He just charged his tanks in, never focus fired, just sort of let his tanks pick whatever targets they wanted. And he also doesn't rotate his buildings wacko.gif

Believe it or not, making a barracks and getting 3 sets of rocket infantry in that garrison helps quite a bit. I think in that situation, where he was ahead of you production-wise, a barracks + WF at your expansion would have been better than two WFs since a barracks is a much cheaper investment.

I wouldn't recommend that on many other maps though tongue.gif

Didn't really expect that he would attack my expansion at all -.- I saw the no expo and figured he was camping or something.

Was mostly a nubgame really but I learned my lesson smile.gif

That's why I always send my first set of infantry to my opponent's base (the ones I get when I sell a refinery).

Ahh the spam of one unit! This game really reminded me of an RA2 match laugh.gif

I never go for early expansion on that map either, as most of the time any opponent I face will instantly try to harass it as hard as possible and probably end up taking it down.

It must have been tough to lose that tank battle, because at first it probably seemed as if you had it, but then some reinforcements came

I use this tactic as well... works great for me.
