Defense specifications

Here's a list of all defensive structures and a few of their specifications, all upgrades cost one Power Point.
Upgrade your defences!
An upgraded turret has reinforced armour and extra health, most defenses also gain special abilities. Don't forget to upgrade them!


GDI

Bunker

Cost: 6 power
Tech Tier: 1
Armor Type: Heavy (Reinforced when upgraded)
- Garrison up to 3 infantry
Upgrades:
- Reinforce (adds gun, changes type from Heavy to Reinforced) at tier 2

Outpost

Cost: 3 power
Armor Type: Heavy
- Provide ground control in small radius
- Detect stealth
Upgrades:
- Comms Upgrade (increase ground control, stealth detection radius) at tier 1
- Shield Generator (adds shield) at tier 2
- Enhanced Shields

Guardian Cannon

Cost: 6 power
Tech Tier: 1
Damage Type: Cannon (cannot attack air)
Armor Type: Heavy (Reinforced when upgraded)
Upgrades:
- Reinforce (changes type from Heavy to Reinforced, adds splash to damage and slows targets on hit) at Tier 2

Missile Turret

Tech Tier: 1
Damage Type: Rocket
Armor Type: Heavy (Reinforced when upgraded)
Abilities:
- Links with nearby Missile Turrets and Falcon MRLS to fire on targets in range of linked turrets, passive
Upgrades:
- Reinforce (changes type from Heavy to Reinforced) at tier 2

Tunnel

Cost: 2 power
Tech Tier: 2
Armor Type: Reinforced
- Build limit of 2 per player
- Small and medium ground units may travel between tunnels instantly
Upgrades:
- Expand Network (adds shields, allows large units to use tunnels) at tier 3
- Enhanced Shields

Falcon MRLS

Cost: 10 power
Tech Tier: 2
Damage Type: Rocket
Armor Type: Reinforced
- Rocket Barrage
- Links with nearby Missile Turrets and Falcon MRLS to fire on targets in range of linked turrets, passive
- Slow targets on hit, passive (requires Sonic Rockets upgrade)
Upgrades:
- Sonic Rockets (adds health, slows targets on hit, adds splash damage) at tier 3

Focus Beam

Cost: 10 power
Tech Tier: 2
Damage Type: Laser
Armor Type: Reinforced
- Armour Up (requires Armour Up upgrade, disables main weapon for improved armour)
- Damage increases with continued fire on a target, passive
Upgrades:
- Armor Up (adds health, enables Armour Up ability) at tier 3
Focus beam
If an opposing Crawler unpacks near your defenses make sure that one Focus Beam targets the Crawler, the increasing damage will eventually force the Crawler to retreat to safety


Skystrike Artillery

Tech Tier: 3
Damage Type: Blast (cannot attack air)
Armor Type: Reinforced
- Minimum range

Crystal Shield

Armor Type: Reinforced
- Crystal Shield
- Stasis Field (all units, structures within or entering radius are frozen for duration)
Upgrades:
Enhanced Shields

Ion Cannon

Cost: 15 power
Tech Tier: 3
Armor Type: Reinforced
- Build limit of 1 per player
- Ion Cannon strike (damage to all targets at targeted location anywhere on the map, EMP targets)
- Staged charge (allow weaker Ion Cannon strike before full charge)
- Adds EMP to Zone Captain attack

Always build your Super-Weapons in your own deploy zone where free defenses guard it from destruction
