I liked that for once someone actually microed the GDI units, by using Sprint and Jump-jets etc usually they just let them die.
One thing I found a bit odd was to go Defense versus Leviathan spam, then building Skystrike Artillery and Zone Captains... maybe the idea was to Hold the Ground and not actually killing the Support Player, well that tactic worked fine.
Yeah holding ground was probably his best option at the time- he was already ahead in points, and Nod T3 support is quite hard to counter on the battlefield without using a combination of GDI classes imo, and there waasn't enough time to build up that kind of force.
Game won by the skin of his teeth, but good nonetheless. Ive seen plenty of games like this where the closer the players are the more determined they are to get nodes, Ive done this too many times, at last minute going ape sh** for node control but I need to post my game with Davinci at some point to explain what I mean, I went to go for the same maurader spam just to get round gdi defence taking nodes
