I manage to save my Crawler two or three times from Striker spam, I think my Crawler only had about 35 HP left during one of the attacks.

Not a 'close' game but I think this had some very fun moments.
Crawler running from striker spam, ION Storm killing Kodiaks and Crawlers, Basilisk with MoK versus Kodiaks, Slaves being useful etc.

Hope you find this replay fun to watch.

While it may not have been the closest game, I had to wub this simply because it was entertaining as hell for me, love all the Basilisk MoK rape.

Also those Crawler saves were amazing, especially the first (35 HP one), I gotta try that Slave/Reckoner combo sometime.

Yeah, I really get annoyed when people say there's zero Micro in this game and that you can just spam and feed the opponent with wrong counters and you don't get any penalties from it etc.

This replay shows quite good how micro pays off and gives a huge VP leap over the opponents.

It's also possible to win with only 2 nodes if you are good enough with micro.
1. Decommission safely all harmed units.
2. Build right counters to kill enemy spam.
3. Use reverse move a lot.
4. Use the Crawler healing radius to heal your units when hurt.

Lots of fun stuff.

You also notice that I drove my Crawler round my allys Crawler, I did that just to get a boost in the auto-healing factor, which basically saved my ass.

I also placed a Turret in the narrow passage, blocked my enemy Strikers.
My ally was also great, he used his land army to block the other side of the Node, so the Strikers got stuck and couldn't hunt my Crawler.

Awesome teamplay.

Nice.. all of a sudden defense seems so much more appealing... hehe.

Btw don't forget crawlers can reverse move too, those strikers took you from behind
