I think someone should really make a guide how to properly use the Decommission and Dismantle options.

To not only start bashing about the bad parts I want to say this is by far the best game I've seen so far, thus still not perfect.
Doesn't this mean that C&C 4 is actually hard to learn? As even the best players in the C&C 4 community still makes mistakes. wink.gif

There's some good choices of keeping unpowered turrets after a loss of Crawler, if you think you might be able to use them again. Never leave them when you notice the enemy is hammering them and easily gaining more VP. Also, if you have no army to command there shouldn't be any real good reason to give VP to the enemy even when they are fighting, you can easy and fast Dismantle a turret in red HP. Saving those 10 VP per turret is more important then giving away one more bullet into the enemy army, which most of the time will only slightly damage them.

However, decommissioning those Wolfs to prevent Hijackers were great. smile.gif

Also at the stats page, I noticed a very interesting thing, the 'losing' team had almost something like 20 Crawler kills, while winning team had 0... how's this even possible? biggrin.gif

One thing I was a bit disappointed with though, was to only see 7 Support powers used from each faction. Those tier 1 powers recharge fast and are most of the time very useful all the time.

I definitely agree with you about there needing to be a guide for unit decommissioning. I can't remember this game specifically, but I consistently see people try to delete crawlers attacked by a full force when they're less than half health, only to end up giving the other team 100 VP.

One of the reason for the large gap in crawler kills is because nobody on Sexy Time (at least not me) really gives a shit if we lose a crawler. I keep mine up in the front lines as much as possible, and although losing it can be costly, the advantage of proximity for newly built units and turrets makes a big difference when fighting the other team. This also goes the other way in that I'll focus on killing units over crawlers any day of the week (unless a crawler is alone and < half health).

The other reason is because GDI is just a better faction. Their units usually have higher health, damage and speed than their Nod Counterparts and this makes it easy to win head to head fights and then take out unprotected crawlers.

And the reason you didn't see any support from Sexy Time (other than Nicole) was because Nod Support is pretty bad in high level play, especially when GDI has sandstorms out. Not to mention the large group of orcas that were present for at least the pre tier 2 game.

Thread Cleaned, If you don't like C&C 4 then why bother coming to the section at all.

That's a rhetorical question by the way, in other words don't bother biggrin.gif
