I was curious. Did sexytime team purposely have one of their players bail out mid-game when it was close so the 4 remaining players could produce more units faster?
Shortone and Aoenian had trouble all tournament with their machines. The only time it would be an advantage to have less players is during the first minute of the game for tib grab purposes, and probably not even then. Everything after that is just one less set of hands on the keyboard.

Sexytime had the center, so they won in all 3 games. Pretty simple. Try explaining that to LobLob is like talking to a dead horse. I wish they were Christians so they had an ear to hear.
Do you realize how unethical it is to blame someone for something that you didn't advise them on to do? I just don't like people like that. They are very ignorant people. Now if LobLob had a repentant heart instead of trying rationalize his behavior, that would be good, but he can't. Pride before the fall. That's what I find so ugly about him.

I disagree. Let's say a particular class is not deemed effective, well then you could just cancel that whole class AND all their units which would help divert resources to those others in need of more units in action instead of one player starting from scratch in a late game scenario.
Off the top of my head I can't think of a scenario where a class be so ineffective that it wasn't worth deleting said ineffective units and/or the crawler and respawning as a more appropriate class. What did you have in mind?

Let's say a class has built some units which are not effective to counter the opposing side's deployed units. So by that player disconnecting all the other players can build a few more units quite rapidly that they badly need for the battle. It pumps out units faster and across 4 other players intead of one guy having to delete his current units and build a whole new group of units slowly.
A player will know when to bail in this situation if he is basically hogtied. He is not holding anything strategic, and he is having to start from scratch slowly to build a whole new set of units, so it is time to bail. Instead of wasting precious time that won't amount to anything because it is going to take a minute or two build the units, why not raise the build que of all your teammates immediately in the end-game. Good strategy in key situations when there is maybe only 1000 or less points left in the game.
