This is how it works.

Do or die, you can pick any army, Final 4 will be played April 25th to may1st. Depending on participants, donaters etc subject to change. Full prize will go to winner. Nothing to 2nd or 3rd ETC,

I'm in. I'm concerned about the maps though. I'll pick only the best army for the map if it's the non improved official ones. Example: USA on sand serp dominates, while china dominates TD.

Excellent maps, however, lagoon might favor china vs USA. Even still, it's better balance then nearly all the maps from EA.

My opinion is the game is what the game is. Pick your army there is only 3. Also if you managed to be an amazing GLA player than China is easy for you. Noobs like myself picked China cuz way easier to win with.

So if the map isn't fair for all armies pick China then

I don't think that's a healthy way to look at it. Further more, I'm a fan of Good games. They are more common when it's balanced..

Look at ZH. They have lots ofaps for tournaments. You should look into using some of our new ones. I'm not the only one making good maps for ccg. There are others

Not every map should be strictly balanced for all 3 armies. It's ok that some maps favor one army more. Great example is your rework of Tournament Tundra. Classic one is simply better because it goes better with the flow of the game (China is early game better). USA is too good on your new version, and doesn't even struggle early game. That's against the great dynamic this game has created.

I'm fan of creating new maps. But i'm not a fan of most reworks of existing official maps. Only Winter and Final Crusade are decent. Winter Wolf is actually a bit better. But I like the classic one aswell. I don't even mind the top spot on FE now that i'm thinking off it. Just takes teamwork to counter though.

@tournament: not so sure about this idea.
