Welcome back Commanders and Comrades! Today, on March 10th, 2020 EA has finally revealed a trailer and release date for the upcoming games C&C Tiberian Dawn Remastered and C&C Red Alert Remastered.
Both games will be released worldwide on June 5th, 2020 and can be pre-ordered on Origin and Steam already. Below you can watch the trailer that was released on EA's official YouTube channel.
While the trailer does a decent job at presenting the game, by visiting EA's official website you can find a more detailed, written overview of the various features of both games.
Apart from the standard digital version of the games (which are sold together as "C&C Remastered Collection") for a price of 19,99 USD, you can buy two additional editions labeled "Special Edition (Physical)" and "25th Anniversary Edition (Physical)" for a price of 59,99 USD and 149,99 USD respectively (prices may differ in your country). Both of those editions come with various extras and more information is available on EA's official website.
Only thing I don't like is that they literally added zero new units. Allied versus Allied for example, they have zero stealth detection abilities. They didn't address this? Reason Allied got dogs in Red alert 2 and 3 were to fight in mirror games versus Spies.
Well everything else besides the broken factions on multiplayer looks amazing.

you know Tib dawn and Ra1 are just tank spam right?
I pretty sure Generals/ZH wrote the book on Tank Spam.
Where one tank can do the work of 10 in the other titles, I'd say it re-wrote the book on Tank Spam.

ZH is the pride of GameReplays and C&C Online. I'm always staggered when seeing the player count in ZH on both mentioned platforms.
It's no surprise when you consider the number of die-hard fans it had using this site and the others that led to C&C Online. It's the only game here that has a ever so slowly growth in its community. 5 years ago it was dead, no tournaments, no relevant topics, no future, then a few visionaries took over here, made YouTube channels, Skype groups, Discord Channels, Facebook pages, and all the rest.
Sadly, the other titles didn't have that.
Hopefully these new remasters get a lot of traction and people have the right spirit when playing them, so we can see more later on.
