We're updating Grey Goo today! With this update, we fix several crash related issues, including the one that crashed matches when two observer slots were used.
Replays • Fixed freeze that occurred when downloading an old replay • Addressed issue brought on by fast forwarding through large chunks of time • Game will no longer freeze when downloading a replay that has been previously downloaded and renamed • Fixed crash that occurred when clicking multiple times in a replay while it was seeking • Fixed crash that occurred when placing multiple bookmarks in a replay
Observer Mode • Observer mode now functions correctly in 2v2 LAN matches • Observers can now leave the match when the host connection is dropped
UI • In-game links now launch to default browser if Steam UI is disabled • Fixed issue where leaderboards were not populating • Fixed issue where buttons would shrink when clicked
Engineering • Fixed rare crash that would occur when changing resolutions • Fixed rare crash that would occur when changing screens after scrolling through recent matches • Fixed crash that would occur when surrendering on Wetlands (Mission 7) • Fixed rare instance that would force servers into an infinite loopSource: Grey Goo Official Site
We have another patch coming up! If all goes well and final testing clears the patch for release, we hope to have it go live next week Tuesday, August 4th.
