New Naval model using existing ship designs

I was just watching Silverbane's demonstration of Naval combat on his new map 'Migration.' Silverbane did an excellent job in designing the map and fixing some of the naval gameplay's biggest problems (particularly reducing ship CP).

When I proposed reworking naval combat in previous posts, I suggested replacing the kamikaze storm ship/doom ship with an interceptor, which would have the same attack as a battleship, but be smaller and trade armor for speed. In order to avoid the need for new ship models, what if we rearranged what we already have?

The current transport ship model would become the interceptor
The current storm ship/doom ship would become the transport ship

Besides recycling old models, this would also have the advantage of making transport ships stand out even more from combat ships. The good factions' combat ships would all have square sails, while the transport ship has the butterfly sails. The evil factions' combat ships would look like large/small versions of each other, while the rowing troll would stand out.

Thoughts?
