It fixes lots of stuff, which has been an issue since long time. The MP and SP Community could move on to this Patch.

PATCH LOG:

BugFixes
------------------------------
- Resolved an issue that caused units to stop before reaching their destination (the infamous movement bug)
- Soldiers of RhŻn now deal proper damage when in porcupine/standard formation
- Resolved an issue that caused a delay before the buildup of farms and lumbermills
- Resolved an issue that caused a delay prior to the Heal spell
- Resolved an issue that caused certain heroes to have a slight delay before certain powers
- Resolved an issue that caused Rohirrim cavalry to take more hero damage when equipped with shields

Miscellaneous
------------------------------
- FoD unit stop icon replaced with more fitting one
- FoD unit bombard icon replaced with proper icon
- Enabled a unused idle animation for Orc workers
- Audio notification enabled when an ally places a beacon
- Select-All-Heroes hotkey reinstated (key o)
- Elven Wood and Tainted Land powers signals house color twice as obvious
- Mordor Orc Warrior missing idle sound added
- Shortcuts added for the folders 'Custom maps', 'Replays', 'Screenshots' and the 'options.ini' file into the BFME main directory
- Guard unit ability (introduced in 1.05) has more appropriate cursor images
- Special power decals have now a better contrast with the terrain
- Some units have slight increasement in their texture resolution (Rohan archers, Aragorn, Eowyn, etc.)
- Skirmish & multiplayer games now have an ingame clock (known issue: when you have AI opponents then the clock might not appear)

Skirmish AI
------------------------------
- Multiplayer AI's Damage bonus has been restored
- Alert range slightly increased 1.5 (from 1.1)
- Agressive range increased 2.2 (from 1.3)
- The AI will use upgrades more often (Heavy armor, Forged blades, Horse shields, Banners carrier, fire arrows and trebuchet fire upgrade)
- Mordor AI no longer wastes the Eye of sauron at the start of the game
- Fixed a bug that caused the AI to sometimes 'forget' to rebuild their destroyed citadel
- Reduced the delay right before the AI starts to use summoned units
- AI controlled bezerkers can now properly trigger mines with their torches
- Saruman will use its dominate ability on more appropriate targets (more often then before)
- AI controlled Balrog improved for a more effective base attack
- Castle's gate system (for AI) slightly more efficient

Creep
------------------------------
- Neutral cavetroll guard radius lowered on specific maps (Anfalas, East Emnet, Fangorn, Fangorn II, Rhun, Rohan and Westfold)

Gondor
------------------------------
- Gondor Trebuchet splash radius is now 20 (from 25), 30 with Fire Stone upgrade (from 40)
- Boromir’s delay between attacks is now 766 (from 800)
- Gondor Camp has now 6 sentry towers (from 4)
- Soldier/Ranger Combo can now receive Banner Carrier upgrade
- Gandalf's Istari AcceptableAimDelta 20 (from 15) [prevent twitchy reaiming]

Rohan
------------------------------
- Eowyn, Eomer and Theoden now spawn as mounted (from unmounted)
- Gimli’s Axe Throw ability has its reload time decreased to 35 (from 45)
- Disabled the minimum attack range of Gimli’s Axe Throw ability
- Rohan Postern Gate now costs 200 (from 300)
- Rohan Elves can no longer form a combo horde together
- Fixed a bug that caused Rohirrim to take more damage from swordsmen when Horse Shields was equipped

Isengard
------------------------------
- Saruman can now climb ladders.
- Fixed a bug which caused lurtz its cripple effect not appearing (graphical)
- Fixed a bug that caused Saruman's dominate effect to load slightly too late
- Warg rider AcceptableAimDelta 15 (from 10) [prevent twitchy re-aiming]
- Warg cavalry acceleration start time 800 (from 1500) brake time 1500 (from 1000)
- Saruman fireball AcceptableAimDelta 20 (from 15) [prevent twitchy re-aiming]

Mordor
------------------------------
- Haradrim Lancer buildcost reduced to 200 (from 240)
- Soldiers of RhŻn horde speed increased to 40 (from 36)
- Mordor Orc Warrior damage against Gondor and Rohan Farms increased to 3.8 per blow (from 3.6)
- Drummer Troll experience bonus reduced to 200% (from 300%)

Worldbuilder
------------------------------
- The license agreament window has been removed
- User interfaces on some windows have been re-sized for better usability
- The always-on-top 'object properties' window can now be resized
- Shortkeys added ( F1 = Map settings, F2 = Scripts, F3 = Edit Teams, F4 = Edit Player lists, F5 = Edit Multiplayer Positions)
- Edited the pink button to a different color (In worldbuilder under scripts actions look for Interface/Display Text/ Display Popup Messege Box)

Campaign
------------------------------
- Minor tweaks to appearance and sounds of Living World Map (including restoration of location text)

Interface changes
------------------------------
- Completed missing map descriptions (Dead Marshes, Mt. Doom & Osgiliath) including the missing text from the disconnect screen
- House Colors slightly adjusted for better contrast

It's not really good advertisement if the changelog of a "Patch" does not exist/display. Maybe work on that before asking people to install something. Besides, to anyone who wants to give this a try; this installation is irreversible, so prepare to reinstall if you don't like it.

Also, THORONGIL made this patch on his own, completely ignoring inputs of the actual good players, so no wonder that it's not played. I agree there needs to be a patch for this game, but a transparent one, made by good players, for the playerbase, and not a one man project. Thorongils "Patch 1.07" is a mod, nothing else.

What does it fix actually?
Did you even try it before you made this topic?
Nothing changed besides that Haradrims cost 200 instead of 240, and eomer/eowyn/theoden are coming out of the cita mounted.

That doesnt sound like "it fixes lots of stuff" to me.

It can be easy uninstalled by deleting the _patch107.big file in the game folder.

Yes I tried the patch, and I also tested the named changes from the patchlog. It works.

I like the updates of the patch. They can change the balance slightly and might make for some improvements. However, I need zoom out or I cba to play. If this is fixed me and some other active players will definitely try it out and promote it when good.

I donít agree with that Maxi my man. I think a new patch would always be good to make it more entertaining. However I think those changes should be decided by the community itself , when a random dude decides to make a new patch by himself before asking anyone about their opinions - it is gonna be a huge waste of time of this guy since no one gonna move.

I have heard that the patch 1.07 was released already like 5-6 years ago and after that many years if no one ever heard about it or either switched , there gotta be a reason.

I like this changes but
1. letís be honest there are not many
2. we donít know how and if it is gonna work in online game
3. Same changes are bullshit ( Drummer trolls already give 200% Exp ld )
4. it was so hard to get rid of this patch after Iíve installed it
5. it needs to communicated to the community before something like that to avoid the problem with the splitted Community

But letís be honest, 1.06 needs some crazy fixes cuz itís buggy as hell
Some of the changes I would recommend

Rohan:

1. I like the Idea of Eomer/Eowyn/Theoden coming out of the Cita on horse
2. shieldmaiden ability of Eowyn should give 100% armor
3. Gimlis Axe fix , Increase Movementspeed and decrease cost to 2000
4. Peasents cost increase to 120 from 100
5. No possible Rohirrim/Peasents combo
6. Rohirrim-Archer cost increase ( They way to OP )
7. Increase Movementspeed & Attackspeed for EntĎs but decrease their Armor vs Fire
8. Treebeard LD for Ents - 50%dmg + Armor + 10% Range
9. Aragorn gives Fear Resistence to units decreased Armor to Eagles / Nazguls
10. Stable hits rank 2 after 4 Rohirrim or 2 Rohirrim + RA instead of 5 Rohirrim

Gondor:
Gandalf LD 50% Dmg instead of Armor / Gondor lacks of DMG
Faramir does not longer give Fearresisdence
Boromir DMG increase and give a rank 10 Ability
(Last Stand) Boromir refuses to die for 10 seconds
Barracks + Archery Range get Rank 2 after creating 3 Units instead of 4
Gondor well just like Rohan-Well is able to heal Trolls+Nazguls
Statue also Rohan-Statue gives resistence to fear

HornOfGondor / Screach / Elendil / CloudBreak now works on unit below rank 3
So you canít counter it by just buying Banner
CloudBreak now reduces 50% armor
CooldownTimers for the Abilities which you can ping by ControllRightclick
To share with your Ally in Teamchat about the Cooldowns of your Abilities

Gondor Camp Changed now it looks like Rohan Camp but instead of Wood with Stones
You are now able to purchase 6 Towers instead of 4

You canít combine any longer Elves with eachother
But you can now combine Soldiers with Towerguards like Urukhai with Pikeman

Lang decrease if Possible

Carnage/Athelas bugs getting fixed
Rains bug fixed now always visible that the units are fighting without LD
Mumakill Bug fixed , Mumakills now coming out of the Pen with Haradrims

There are much more but those are things which I would like to change
I know many people will disagree since no one likes changes but after so many years a change would be really fresh for the community , ofc it is always a dangerous Decision which could cause the Community to split but letís be honest how many active players do we have ? It can always end up beeing bad but It could also be good and maybe yes maybe we can get some new players.

I know many people will disagree since no one likes changes but after so many years a change would be really fresh for the community , ofc it is always a dangerous Decision which could cause the Community to split but letís be honest how many active players do we have ? It can always end up beeing bad but It could also be good and maybe yes maybe we can get some new players.

I like most of these changes. At first glance, adding more heroes makes it look more like a mod, but more variety is needed to make this game and certain match up more balanced.

One should not merely say "resolves many of these" befoe trying under hardest conditions such as could put in some tests. Some FFA games among "tommy, argentino, russians, dunedain, delrey, hungryhorse" or other "lagger guys". each time differnt one of them hosting... Analyzing battles, delays.. ETC

BTW, those delays i believe put or exist to accompany & cover some natural lags. So we don't feel lag under delayed connections. But Whatever...

Moreover, changing cost, damage etc. Are major things. People might try... But hard work.. I can say Harad ok, cheaper better for some maps, and vs some fol, but is it *averagely speaking*? Would it be really "fixing"?

& ofc Too much other game-motion-cost-damage etc. changes!

I say Dodge! At least four now! A experimental group may work on it, and share their opinions/results, but still, many of them doesnt look bright at first glance.

Some may change the game until it looks like a ROTWK or Age of empires. Need to be careful about these right..? some not balances might have purposes to promote some other unique things in BFME? I Thin so.
