With that you can play tourneys with armies free of choice or Random and you don’t need to care about unbalanced matchups that much nor you need to play Random and reverse.
Let’s assume you have a single elimination tourney with 8 players.
You could say up to the final the players play until they exceed a several amount of points, possibly 80 and in the final 120.
Game 1: AF out of Random (Player1) vs. INF out of Random (Player2) à Player 1 wins and gains 40 points.
Game 2: TOX out of Random (Player1) vs. INF out of Random (Player2)
à Player 1 wins and gains 25 points. A total of 65 points now.
Game 3: Laser out of Random (Player1) vs. Tank out of Random (Player2)
à Player 1 wins and gains 25 points. A total of 90 points now wins the game vs player 2.
That highly makes having underdogs as armies interesting if you want to gain points fast. That’s also something which could be implemented into leagues.
Keep a comment if you like. I just wanted to share, that’s all.

PS: There’s just one glitch in the EXCEL if you play with the multiplications, you cannot read out a Demo

here is my idea for a possible tourney in which points are based on the 1.04-balance table and the following:
- 1on1 maps which are somewhat similar to TD (size or structure)
- Random balance is ON
I used the table which Dominator has created and have updated an EXCEL list which I started when the discussion was on.
